If you're dating a woman that's even moderately attractive, she's going to get hit on. Any man that can't deal with that should either not date, or specifically look for someone unattractive. Sorry (not sorry), to have to break it to you.

My partner knows I love him and I'm 100% devoted to him. Our relationship, much like all healthy relationships, is based on trust and great communication.

He doesn't have to resort to bullshit tactics to "keep" me — that's what insecure men use, because they know their personalities aren't sufficient.

I would honestly just dump my partner if they did that. You have to be pretty insecure to think that being perceived by other people has any sort of sexual connotations. Men also post pictures of themselves on Instagram and go to the club, and just because a person does these things it doesn't necessarily mean that they are asking to be approached or hit on; sometimes, people just want to have fun. Besides, people get approached in tons of different situations, it doesn't mean that they are asking for it.

I've been hit on while walking down the street in a winter coat. I've been hit on at the library. I've been hit on while covered in dirt and bugs at work. I was hit on when I was 13 and walking to the store in my school uniform. I was hit on in a park while playing chess with my dad. I was hit on while reading a book IN A FUCKING CEMETARY. It's ridiculous to assume that people are asking for attention just because others happen to pay attention to them. If someone I was dating felt like they needed to use fuckass stunts like that to force me to stay with them, I would just leave.

Women don't approach men, they put themselves in a position to be approached. AKA the club. They don't DM men, they put themselves in a position to get DMs from men, AKA Instagram.

Even as a not-overly-attractive guy, I got approached plenty. That alone disproves broad, generalized statements like this. And this isn't some anomaly, either.

I highly suggest getting off internet, getting over your resentment, and talking to people outside. Internet and dating apps really do skew your perception. Although, even on those apps, guys get approached quite a bit. I mean, Bumble is specifically created with a notion, that women contact dudes first.

women will approach men sober and ask them to go to the club or to a bar with them. usually in my case it was a bar or a restaurant where they could buy drinks and get it done faster. clubs are a lot of trouble, expensive, hard to build the charge up in the dark. and ppl say "oh women who have sex on the first date are low quality." nah they can tell if ur a good guy with a good heart, they will do it on the first "date" while still maintaining a sense of dignity. "Date," in quotes, cause "dating" isn't even real, neither is male courtship.

but most guys live in this grey area where they don't see this happen so they don't think it happens

it's really like trying to teach a cat calculus, it's basically pointless trying to explain this

and even if i could get the point across, it won't happen to 100% of people trying to study seduction or PUA or whatever, so what's the point of even trying to cross that bridge?

The thing with DMs/being approached irl these are generally seen as annoyances by us. If you are in a happy and secure relationship you are not in the mindset to entertain these advances. You can't control what other men do and men are going to try. You can control the interaction "thank you I'm flattered but I am not interested" "thank you but I have a boyfriend". Any moderately attractive woman will have this issue.

Passive dread that works is this scenario:

Man has gotten kinda bleh. So has his wife. Their sex life fell off. He also noticed his pants 👖 aren’t fitting the same (tighter) and he’s feeling like a fattier pile of dough, not like a lean machine. So he decides to start hitting the gym. He does solo sets but for him he likes the structure and communal aspect of classes occasionally. So he also joins Orange Theory for some months. It works. He’s feeling more energetic. He looks good. He’s more muscular and more cardiovascularly fit. Plus going to the classes means he has his Orange Theory buddies. Some are women! One day his wife picks him up from the gym and sees them all talking by the curb outside of class. One of the guys goes “Matt you been looking solid my brother!” and of the ladies leans in close laughing and lightly touches his arm and goes “for real Matt you have been… I need you to give me rowing pointers tomorrow!” Matt chuckles and with a confident stroll he heads to the car looking good in his workout clothes and says “hey babe thinks for the lift”

Guess what… him and his wife was fuckingg on that night.

That is passive dread. He got more attractive and she saw other men and women acknowledge it playfully (potentially flirtatiously).

He didn’t “run game”

He got physically attractive and he stopped relying on just her for his validation (he got a social life).

Matt wasn’t “using dread game.” Matt got hotter and went outside and hung with people.

Women aren’t “using dread game.” Some women are hott and they go outside and they hang with people.
