I would go to the bank divide money, go to your financial planner, take her name off as a beneficiary on everything, take her of medical, dental benefits and start working on your exit strategy. she stayed for whatever security you provided and because she didnt have a real plan. the female mind at middle age especially, is chaotic and emotional. she wanted a divorce but had no idea what she was in for so she stuck around. you file, and start mentally breaking up with her now of you havent already. divorce is emotional, get over that part fast and stay rational and smart. research a good lawyer, borrow money if you have to, file first. good luck.

Maybe you two might like swinging together or opening up the relationship sexually? Do you also want to sleep with other people? Would you want to do that together? If it's that you don't want to be together, that's one thing. If you both want to be together but also want to fuck other people and you're both okay with it, you both can.

Tough position. Your kids are probably 12 and 10. That is a lot of child custody battles, parental alienation, child support, asset loss, legal fees, etc. I have a feeling if you try to divorce her she will be difficult to divorce and bring her friends into it. May be better to wait 8 years and then divorce her once the kids are adults. Hopefully that helps to avoid some of the nastiness.
