I've had a few interations with women that made me question whether it's a fear of men...or a fear of consequences.

Most all of the women I speak to who have expressed misandry are also some of the least respectful. They have a huge sense of entitlement, hubris, are openly rude and disrespectful among other things.

Meanwhile the women who haven't expressed these misandrist ideas are generally decent and nice people. In fact I have a friend, who was literally stabbed in her sleep by some man, and she's not a misandrist in anyway.

Another thing I noticed is that the fear of men seems to be directly related to consequences. In a club a woman will walk about to a group of guys, take their hat and then go dance with it without a second thought. But if that same group of guys was walking down the street at night, the woman would run across the street to 'protect herself'.

What I've come to noticed is that most women who are 'scared of men' aren't actually scared of men, they're scared of consequences. With an increased sense of safety they know they can get away with disrespect with no social, legal or physical consequences. But as that safety diminishes that's when the fear increases. This is also why many of these women have no problem starting issues with other women. That's not to say it can't happenen randomly but to think it will on a grand scale, it's because it's a you problem.
