This is an insane hypothetical scenario that isn’t realistic to how DV situations escalate. You don’t “choose” an abuser, a pattern of seemingly normal behaviors slowly escalate over time.

I couldn’t imagine my ex punching a hole in a wall and blaming me for it the first year of our relationship. He waited until we moved in together and we were isolated to start acting like an asshole lmao.
