The most popular example is when guys  claim “society sees women as victims and men as the perpetrators because of feminism”.

This actually shows a victim complex in itself because it implies that men are persecuted and it’s because women are placed on a higher pedestal. This results in many, if not most, men in these spaces to get very upset when men are ever criticized. Even when they begrudgingly admit with a man is at fault, they usually have to bring women into the situation. As if it truly pains them to simply just say “this guy is the problem” or “these guys are problem”. They have to cushion that pain by saying “b-b-b-but women!”

I wanted to turn everyone’s attention to a recent story that came out called the Danish deception. Look on Youtube and Tiktok for the story and reactions. A woman talked about how her husband scammed her, her friends, and her family out of money. However, the majority of the reactions are women explaining that she was stupid and that she needs to take accountability for allowing a lot of those things to happen. Barely ever bringing up the guy who was the actual scammer. The focus is on the fact that she’s acting like a complete victim instead of seeing how she allowed herself to be so delusional.

So, how is it that women have shown a capability of holding a woman accountable without saying “but the man did this and that” but men who claim “men take accountability more and women are so coddled” cant handle men getting criticized, calling it man hating?

And the biggest thing I noticed is that these spaces can’t handle acknowledging when men harm men or that men dont care about suffering of other men. They will acknowledge it if a man is harming/disregarding other men for the betterment of women, but otherwise, they can’t handle it. For example, the MRA types always want to complain about feminists being standing in the way of addressing men’s issues. Thing is, when we look at MAGA’s success, it shows people can succeed despite feminists standing in their way. So men CAN fight against feminists and succeed, they just have to care enough. However the response when addressing this? “B-b-b-but women voted for Trump too! Women are the majority of voters! Feminists still control the dominant narrative and shame men for speaking out!”

Because they don’t want to actually address a problem. They want to feel like victims and then blame it on women or women’s rights for why they are victims. They are jealous women are finally getting help in society after spending most of human history oppressed and that women have a stronger sense of community/bonding than men. I guess it’s also less painful than to acknowledge that men have an outgroup bias, even when it’s not to impress/benefit women.

One extra thing:

Keep in mind, conservatives are usually against feminism, too, but they are also willing to use the “men are perpetrators” stereotype when its against certain groups like African men, immigrant men, Men transitioning into women. So men will group up with SPECIFC groups of men, but not the whole male gender like feminism does with the whole female gender..
