I don't think there any way to even start guessing these things, nor is there a point to. It's really about supply and demand / how comfortable you are being alone.

A woman who's not willing to have sex in 30 days does not need to compromise if she knows she has other suitors or is OK with staying single.

Similarly, a man who's not willing to pay for everything on the get-go does not need to compromise if he knows he has other dates or is OK with staying single.

It's really just about what you can tolerate or are comfortable with, nothing wrong with setting standards or firm boundaries.

Splitting the bill on the first date usually means she doesn’t like you and doesn’t want to mislead you.

Sex after 30 days (depending on how often you see each other) is a ridiculous measurement to even think about.

If you are going to decide to move onto sex, it may take longer than 30 days, but you basically go with when you are sure you want to-could be a month, could be 3 months.

“How long you’re willing to wait” implies that somebody is in it for the sex, and the sex should be a by-product of the relationship, not some kind of goal.

Why am I bringing this up? Because those are the two most common complaints I see in this sub, especially with the red pill. Also talk about the contradictions.

For a TLDR summary:

Men: Women are using men for resources, free meals, theyre not real feminists.

Women: Then just date women who are willing to pay for herself.

Nothing wrong with men bringing that up when the topic of paying for dates comes up. Since women will claim to be feminist but will gladly still keep the belief that men should pay for the first date out there. So yeah, they can try to avoid that by saying date other types of women, but the point has still been made regardless.

If a $100 date, which for me is taking a girl bowling, a couple of drinks and an appetizer, would set you back than you should not be dating at all.

I gotta buddy who went on 25 dates in one month (October) he found his girlfriend by November he's not a Chad but he's in decent shape, intilligent (does vibecoding with claude and molbot), makes 6 figures etc. He is not chasing after models or instgram thots. This guy is 36 now lives with his parents, works a part-time job and complains about havintg to pay $300 in rent to his folks(boy do I wish my rent was that cheap). He was a huge bluepill guy up until 3 years ago, now the guy now larps Redpill conservative tropes on Facebook(when up until 32 he was liberal) every day and for the life of him can't figure out why he can't get a " good-looking, good girl" and dating is expensive.

What's my point?

If you keep improving as a man your options will improve as well (this includes women if you do the work) but if you 30+ for example whining about how expensive dating is you need to improve your priotities before you date.

Why all % in Having sex column don't add up to 100? And they did not ask "how long are you willing to wait" they asked how long did it take. Which is quite interesting considering differences between sexes. Also we don't know how old those people are, like 1% waited 3-4 years to have sex, did they started dating young, was one of them in a coma?

Anyway, I don't think a women expecting man to pay on the date will happily pay if she is more attracted to a guy, but with sex she will accelerate gladly. If she has never done it, then I will believe it is how she dates and be fine with it.

Who is complaining about women not splitting the bill? Do you think we actually care about the cost of half an order of moz sticks?

As long as she sleeps with me, she can order $400 worth of drinks and I won't care one bit. But a woman who is on month 2 and insists on paying the whole bill herself for both of us but hasn't slept with me yet is going to get on my nerves. Because at the end of the day, getting my chili fries paid for is not what's motivating me to go on dates. I don't care about that.

Money is often brought up because its a more concrete thing, but the actual resource being wasted is time. No man wants to be strung along entertaining a woman who is not sexually interested in him and just has nothing to do on a Saturday so might as well do a food tour of the city with this chump. That Saturday could have been spent developing something with a woman that actually wants to jump on his dick instead of with someone that just wants her dinner paid for and to waste his time.

They’re selecting for a broader profile—attraction, personality, signaling, compatibility—and those traits come bundled.

So yes, there may be plenty of women willing to split bills.

That doesn’t mean they match what those same men are actually trying to select for.

Same with early sex.

It’s not just about timing—it signals a certain kind of interaction and relationship dynamic.

I usually disagree with any "men bad" type posts but I agree with this one.

Men need to be up front about what we want from women, set standards for relationships and we need to stop having the "any woman will do as long as she's willing to sleep with me" approach.

For me, I'm fine paying everything for a woman but I won't compromise on respect, monogamy, and reasonably frequent sex. Also, I don't want any type of control freak woman that wants to fix/change me, views me as a project or tries to nag me, life-coach me or create a mom-child dynamic.

Some women will already be pissed off if I say those are my non negotiables and that's ok, I want to exclude those women. Maybe I even want to screen for the woman who enjoys being financially cared for because, hey, that is one of my strengths that I bring to the table.

Intelligent vetting is something men need to get way better at.

You are conflating what people say they think should happen with what they actually do. None of the studies you linked ask people what they actually do.

A better question would be "have you ever had sex with a man within 30 days of the first date with him?" I bet the percent responding yes to that question would be way higher, and more relevant.

My question is, what’s the functional difference, morally and practically, between an escort and someone who expects different forms of “payment” (resources, monetary support) for the girlfriend experience?

also minor flaw in your rant here. depending on context, you don't actually know what kind of woman she is until you go on that first date with her ..... you know in order to get to know what kind of woman she is. you don't know if splittin the bill or hooking up on the first night is somethin she is or is not into up until that very first date. its like not knowin if the guy you're dating is trustworthy with his promises prior to the first date. that's kinda why you're goin on dates with him, to try and sus those things out.

my advice is much better actually. many guys dont for some reason realize that stereotypically bein the pursuer actually gives you the leverage in a dating scenario. if she doesnt like payin for lil things like appetizers or drinks or dessert or just the tip or splittin the bill or isnt interested in hooking up at all while dating, you can just pull the rip cord at any moment. you can just wave at the waiver for two checks and once youre good, you can just bounce. that's it. you can explain yourself to her if you want but that isn't a necessary move on your part.

i at times implement the "hey can you get XYZ?" tactic on first dates just to see if she will instinctively exhibit the same sort of generosity she's hoping to see in me that night. if she doesn't pass the vibe check for whatever reason, i just simply pull the rip cord. i ask for two checks and that's that. it's that easy. the only way this would hurt you as a guy is if you lacked confidence in your ability to get another date or couldn't hack just bein single.

What people think and what they actually do are not the same. If you poll people asking if they should text and drive and you poll people asking if they have texted and driven anywhere. Those are 2 completely different questions. And you cannot (inherently) use one in substitute of the other. None of the data speaks on true willingness (or even if they have done it), just their opinions on what people should do.

If everyone thinks you should study before a test that doesn’t necessarily correlate with whether or not people actually do study before test nor their actual willingness to study. Even in the data you list (regarding sexual activity) the questions specifically use “say” or “should,” not “do” “have done” or “willingness” because they understand there is a big fundamental difference how people think others should behave and actual behaviors. If 100% of women say they shouldn’t go back to their cheating abusive boyfriend that is not inherently reflectively of their willingness to go back or whether or not they have actually done so.

I feel you have a misunderstanding or are just misapplying statistics. Just because you post sources doesn’t actually mean they’re supporting your point.
