It's really sad to me that so many people couldn't imagine liking/being excited about their partner enough to talk about them, or can't imagine someone else being sincerely in love with or happy with a monogamous partner.

It also makes me wonder what kind of relationships they could possibly be looking for, if what, say, you have with your husband, is not within the range of possibilities. I believe that every person is special and has traits uniquely worth loving and appreciating, every person has the potential to do good, to share love and be loved. Experiencing pain and discomfort at others' hands hasn't changed my view on this or I wouldn't be here.

I guess I'm sad about it rather than angry. I do think that people willing to extend love and good faith deserve to see it reciprocated, but I see so few male posters here offering them up.
