This canard has been trotted out recently in a number of threads. Men claim women bring nothing to the table while men bring value in the form of a job, support, drive, etc. The supposition behind it is a woman's worth lies solely in her appearance and ability to serve as a self-cleaning fleshlight. Once she cannot fulfill these, she is intrinsically worthless.

How is this not misogynistic? This is dismissive of a woman's abilities and contributions. This reduces a woman to nothing. This is not treating a woman like a man, since by your argument all men bring value to every table.

Furthermore, this is self-fulfilling. Another canard complains a woman has intrinsic value because of her appearance while a man has to earn his value to society. If TRP believes a woman brings nothing to the table, he reinforces this stereotype and encourages passive women.

How do you look a woman in the eye, tell her she's worthless, and pretend it's not misogynistic?
