I am a bit of a switch, and I’m often in the mood to dominate guys in the bedroom. I think all the traits I find hot in those moods are beta traits—shy virgin guys, awkward guys, smaller and more submissive dudes, etc. I have only ever once been able to date a bisexual dude, and he happened to bottom in his male-on-male relationships and I’ve gotta say, something about the image of him being dominated by a bigger, stronger dude was hot. We considered pegging but both of us felt weird about it so we never ended up trying it, but tbh I still regret never following through on that and I would leap at the next possibility to try it with someone. Just sounds fun.

I also tend to be attracted to artsy guys, and poetry (cheesy as it often is) makes my heart absolutely melt. I’ve been told that’s beta-y.

Also tend to prefer shorter dudes after a bad history with a very tall guy. Is that considered a beta trait?

idk i like guys who are really into me and downright obsessed(?) so i guess that comes off pretty beta. my bf is pretty whipped and i love it. ive pretty much never grown attracted to a guy who acted meh or detached for me. like i don't really know what its like to have a one sided crush on a guy because i really only fall for guys when they're acting like they're crazy about me. so yeah i guess "simp" behavior is what i find hot. Not me, but my close friends and family members are like this. They are domineering women who enjoy the company of men who do not argue back. They marry passive men and love them for real, even going so far as to claim "submissive wife" status that no one believes. An alpha man is seen as a "dick" or "asshole" because he will not bend to her will and she will never go for him.

I don't even get how someone can be "sexually attracted" by personality traits anyway. It is more so setting the tone and manipulating the woman to feel something, it is what these traits do, not what these traits are. What is sexy about a 'personality trait'. No one cares about personality traits then in the height of lust.

A man being considerate, generous, caring with money is attractive and sets the tone, but what does this have to do with his fucking? This is like those men that talk like women have dildos made out of paper money or something.

When a guy sacrifices something for me, like money or time or options, it makes me feel attractive and valuable. Men don't give up those things for ugly worthless women. Feeling attractive puts me in the mood for sex. Is sexual submissiveness a beta trait? That turns me on too.

There is something satisfying about my man going out in the world and bringing me food and little gifts sometimes. It raises him above other men in my eyes and makes me want to please him.

He is also capable of being emotionally vulnerable. This adds comfort because it means that he takes our relationship seriously. I need comfort and mutual trust for me to be vulnerable in return. It's the bare minimum to even think about having sex.

Obviously beta traits don't eliminate alpha traits. I'm not interested in guys who don't have both.

Hotter trait is attention/dedication/loyalty: beta treating ME as queen while alphas were towards the jerk side. It manifests by feeling that nice feeling of being taken care of/pampered/desired/adored. Being able to communicate well + being respected allows beta to learn and grow together.

Through the years, beta "keeps fighting" (stays in shape, keeps learning/adoring), much sexier than most alphas.

There's not anything about what a beta male does that "arouses me". That's the whole point. I arouse myself, quite frequently, and then I want the shyest, sweetest "beta" male to gift it to.

I guess a long history of thinking this way does end up creating a positive feedback loop. Now when I encounter a sweet, beta male I automatically get turned on. But the mental habit started with me being proactive.

The most attractive thing a man can be to a woman is both. Alpha in the sense that he's confident, strong, dominant, etc., and beta in the sense that he's loyal, kind, committed, and family-oriented.

NO normal woman wants somebody who is 100% alpha.

Well that really depends what you mean by "beta." I see that term used to describe a weird grab bag of traits.

Qualities that I see described as "beta" and find sexually attractive include -kindness -making me feel safe -eating pussy -not being a domineering douchenozzle -being an introverted dork -being a sub -being smart and/or artistic -using a fucking condom

"Beta" traits that I find unappealing (both sexually and emotionally) include: -wanting kids -not being reasonably assertive -being too shy to actually talk about sex -generally not being fun in bed

Neutral "beta" traits include: -being short -money -a smaller than average penis

Alpha men = men who are dominant, combative, competitive when it comes to other men, kind, laidback, protective when it comes to women. And they are almost always good fathers, husbands and “white knights” (+ high socioeconomic status of course).

All alpha men I’ve seen were men who are nice, solid people. And they were never promiscuous. Only these subs call fuckboys/players “alpha men”.

And also Beta men are incels, gamers, nerds, otakus, autistic men etc. not family guys.

The only guy I dated who I remember fondly was textbook “beta.” I’ve never been in love but if I would have loved anyone it would have been him. He was chivalrous, always asked me if things were working for me or I was enjoying myself, and had some confidence issues. But he was so cute and well-meaning. He put me first in every decision. Only reason I ended things was because I could not give him the time he deserved (career stuff).

I do because it allows me to take a more aggressive and dominant role, which I find more fun than being passive and submissive. Those men who are more shy and hesitant tend to show their emotions very easily. I enjoy making a guy lose his footing and be at loss for words, I enjoy seeing him break eye contact for a moment. I've never been attracted to"alpha" traits. The vast majority of the time, the behaviors that the RP describes as supposedly being alpha and attractive, invoke a visceral disgust and dislike in me.

The men I've dated have always been openly emotional, straightforward and honest about their feelings, and absolutely dorky in love with me. Anything less fails to grab my interest.

I like the kindness and the caring. Men like that make you feel safe to be open and vulnerable with them. Whatever they do affection wise I always want to reciprocate. They’re just sweet and make you want to shower them with love and do right by them.

As a general rule of thumb - I only like fucking with amiable men who make me feel safe and secure. yes, even for hook ups.

I just don't like the idea of going home with a man who I'm unsure of and don't feel safe with. So normally this would entail spending the evening chatting with him and getting to know him before things escalate into that territory.

My past FBs were men who were not good relationship material (or they didn't find myself relationship material) but were demonstrably good people who I felt safe and happy around.

For the FB, money was pretty irrelevant - but they had 'trustworthiness' 'no history of abandonment', 'kindness' and 'generosity' I'm pretty sure they were also 'good with children' as most of them spoke highly of the kids in their family and a desire to have kids later on in life.

My last LTR of 7 years had very little money, but he was in full time employment.
