I literally just shared a NY Times article on my page asking people if they wanted to have kids why or why not. The majority of the men have answered yes to kids, majority of the women have answered no. What a shock. /s

They did a study in Spain and found that men who have taken paternity leave are less likely to have more kids in the future.

PLEASE start mentioning men regarding responsibilities

IT IS NOT HARD (directed at literally every government and media source)

We, everyone, need to ask "what about the men" whenever someone posts something regarding lack of childbearing and childcaring. They can never shut up about it regarding anything else so why stop when responsibility is mentioned?

Agree with this so much. Most of the responsibility and sacrifices fall on women. Which perfectly explains why every man I have ever dated (from the age of 17 upwards wanted kids and asked me to come off the pill...I said no)

Maybe if they made it so women didn’t have to choose between children and a career (free childcare for all, at all hours, paid by the government so we don’t have to reduce hours or leave work to have a child) and a change to social expectations, that it is the woman’s role to parent while the man is the bread winner. This way men do their share of the parenting too. Also equal length paternity leave as maternity so both parents are caring for their child (and so women are not at a disadvantage in childbearing age with getting a job as employers don’t want to risk having to pay maternity leave)
