In case you needed yet another reason to deny randoms access to your body, here's another: STD testing rates are down, because men are not getting tested for STDs. Experts predict that STD rates will spike up this summer after the lockdown. See this article for the lowdown. We've all seen the male depravity reported here and elsewhere, and after having been on lockdown and deprived of their usual amusements, LVM and NVM will be more desperate than usual this summer.

By now, regular readers of this sub are aware of the stupid games men play, the "plate spinning," the "future faking," and the "post-nut clarity" that he will use as an excuse to dump you immediately after you have sex with him. Don't fall for any of this. These men abound on OLD apps, which is why this sub recommends against using OLD apps that make it easier for LVM to meet and use as many women as possible.

Men can be asymptomatic for a number of STDs, and so they don't get tested. We also know that men refuse to get tested even when they have symptoms, and will lie when asked about their testing history and their body count. Some of these men are having multiple partners a week, and are either not using condoms ,or are stealthing women and taking the condom off. Men have zero morals when offered an opportunity to wet the D, so you must look out for yourself, take your time getting to know him, and vet, vet, vet.

If you've reached the stage where you feel comfortable with sexual intimacy with him, insist on seeing STD test results, preferably on an app, because it's harder to fake. If he says he's been tested but "doesn't have" the results, he's lying. All STD testing facilities now have some method of electronic delivery for STD test results, and physicians have results online. If he can't PROVE he's clean, then do not risk it. Your health is more important than any man's feelings, and more important than the (probably bad) sex you're going to have with him.

Unless you have been dating a man for a number of months, and are exclusive with him -- because he asked you, not because you asked him -- assume he is seeing and sleeping with other women. For the good of your future reproductive health and your current health and sanity, it's better not to sleep with men that you're not seeing exclusively. The "fun" is not worth the risk of an incurable STD like herpes, warts, or hepatitis, and you can catch all of those even if you use a condom. Be very picky about who you share fluids with, ladies.
