What the actual fuck. Reading what she did how is it deemed she is not a pedo ffs. Edit, not just a pedo but an abusive pos.

[–]im_a_teapot_dude 229 points230 points231 points 5 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

This “logic” makes perfect sense if you start thinking of women as helpless non-agents in the world, gust around by whatever forces are around her as if a leaf on the wind, as far too many feminists do.

You can see this play out in the Duluth model very explicitly: the theory goes that women are only violent as a reaction to (or otherwise because of) male violence.

It’s never women or a particular woman’s fault. How could it be? That would suggest The Patriarchy isn’t to blame for something, and to question the existence of such a thing is blasphemy!

[–]ImpossibleAir4310 48 points49 points50 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

That’s such blatant cake-and-eat-it-too bullshit: Let’s be empowered!…unless criminal responsibility comes up…then helpless? I guess that’s okay after all. But only this time.

A pedo is a pedo. Gender doesn’t mitigate the damage done in the lives they destroy, so it shouldn’t mitigate their prison sentences either.

[–]queenbla_nk 16 points17 points18 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's the core issue I have with feminism. From what I've seen, they want all the privilege and none of the responsibility.

[–]AnOnFaRmEr66 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You forget, they did away with gender. Next this will be legal.

[–]ConsequenceCorrect14 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

it already is, the first thing they ask is "is she pretty tho ?", people dont see it as something wrong, and they tell the males to just be thankful that they even had sex in the first place even if its forced, no matter if its a kid or an adult

[–]AnOnFaRmEr66 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Makes me want to vomit. "Hey, just be glad someone found you cute enough to be raped and sodomized." Disgusting.

[–]73Scamper 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I entirely agree with you, but you do realize that treating women as not having agency or responsibility for themselves is also really bad and even dangerous for them right? This isn't feminists going 'muh patriarchy' it's deeply engrained sexist beliefs that effect everything from gender roles to prison sentences. No one wins here except for pieces of shit, ones like this woman who managed to abuse those beliefs.

[–]im_a_teapot_dude 12 points13 points14 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

you do realize that treating women as not having agency or responsibility for themselves is also really bad and even dangerous for them right?

Yes, which is why so much of feminist theory, a la the Duluth model and other horrible pieces of fiction, is so offensive.

This isn't feminists going 'muh patriarchy'

It isn't just feminists going 'muh patriarchy', no, but like... honestly there's such a straight line from feminist theory to this court decision that it's hard to ignore.

[–]73Scamper 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's fair to draw a line from one to the other but it's not fair to put sole or even majority blame on feminism, just my two cents though.

[–]Sad_Caregiver69 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

no one wins here except for pieces of shit, ones like this woman who managed to abuse those beliefs.

so a majority of woman win

[–]SkadaBoofer 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

A lot of people suck but not a majority of women... anyone can be an asshole its just some people abuse privileges

[–]73Scamper 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Nope. People suck it goes across all groups. if you're that focused on one group you're one of the people that suck.

[–]ConsequenceCorrect14 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

majority ?, by the society and the law system almost everywhere, if you are a female, you can rape as much as possible, nobody will give a shit, "teacher haveing sex with a student ?, ohh shes a female, its alright, you should be thankful", every consept of rape towards men is looked at as something that SHOULD happened

[–]ShaidarHaran2 16 points17 points18 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

On another video, the same woman is lying in bed with the same toddler. Both are naked. She begins to lick the child’s anus. Looking at the camera, she smacks her lips.

This woman is a fucking monster and deserves life, and judge Kathleen Caldwell is a pedophile sympathizer at minimum, as well as the female psychiatrist.

[–]BornAgainSpecial 268 points269 points270 points 5 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Is it also not a registered sex offender because female?

[–]thewildweird0 160 points161 points162 points 5 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

VIDEO OF EVIDENCE OF HER SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A GODDAMN TODDLER! And she’s still not a sex offender. Wtf.

Good thinking

[–]VISUALBEAUTYPLZ 123 points124 points125 points 5 years ago (115 children) | Copy Link

I wonder what female feminists have to say about that since they are fighting for equality of men and women.

I REALLY WONDER, anyone try crossposting this on feminist subs?

[–]zzuezz 74 points75 points76 points 5 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

fighting for equality for men? that's a fucking joke

[–]NameGiver0 34 points35 points36 points 5 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

The next time one of them says this, ask them what they’ve done to end circumcision.

Then watch them deflect.

[–]steawesome2013 25 points26 points27 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I told some women that I think circumcision should be illegal they told me it looked better that way and is cleaner. I told them who gives a fuck what you think. If I think abortions aren't fun to watch should we just stop having them?

[+]CalamityAnatomy -30 points-29 points-28 points 5 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

what have you done?

[–]NameGiver0 30 points31 points32 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

what have you done?

See, there’s the deflection. As predicted, and right on queue. Thank you for proving my point perfectly.

[+]CalamityAnatomy -29 points-28 points-27 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

And no answer, cause you haven't done anything. You just need to rage at ghosts. :/

[–]NameGiver0 23 points24 points25 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

See how they change the subject and make it personal? Class, this is called an ad hominem and is a logical fallacy: https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/ad-hominem

When they do this just realize you won. Since they have no honor or integrity they’ll never just admit it, they lash out like the spoiled children that they are. Note that this is a direct insult. Not to be confused with an ad hominem. For it to be an as hom they would have first had to have made an argument.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

[–]Sad_Caregiver69 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

yep they just love to do that shit

[–]CalamityAnatomy -2 points-1 points0 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

you couldn't even lie and say you signed a pledge against circumcision

lazy and good for nothing, why am I not surprised? you're just like your father

[–]NameGiver0 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I simply denied your deflection and refused to let you change the subject and make the topic about me. You still haven’t answered.

How many cats you up to, inspin?

[+]sessual_choclate -13 points-12 points-11 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Your invocation of the circumcision question is itself an hominem attack, which you admitted yourself. You, yourself posted that you use this as a counter to a different argument. You're getting up voted because dudes but you have no idea what you're talking about.

[–]DBD_hates_me 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I did got banned from twox and feminism for “brigading and being a fucking idiot”. Before my post was removed a lot of them said women can’t penetrate so it’s not rape.

[–]101jr101 10 points11 points12 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It will be the fault of the patriarchy somehow

[–]sTixRecoil 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I mean I'm sure it'll be twisted somehow on one of those subs, but (as a man) a true feminist will feel the same way we do. Actual feminism is rare these days and it's sad tbh.

Also btw to make what I'm referring to clear (bc internet and shit) I mean. Actual feminism meaning equality for both genders. Because that is what it (should be) is

[–]SpaceTimePolice 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Are feminist subreddits known for promoting pedophilia? If not, I'm not sure what your goal would be.

[–]Isabellaboo02 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

They're not going to support it? I mean we're not some hive mind, a pedophile is a pedo phile tf you think feminists are going to say?

[+][deleted] -88 points-87 points-86 points 5 years ago (97 children) | Copy Link

Why would you crosspost a men's rights issue to feminist subs. You wouldn't let a feminist crosspost to this sub.

Maybe two movements can exist separate from each other. Maybe it is really not possible for there to be a movement for both women and men. Because this sub acts like women's rights issues don't exist and feminist subs act like men's problems don't exist.

[–]throwawayincelacc 80 points81 points82 points 5 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

Because this sub acts like women's rights issues don't exist and feminist subs act like men's problems don't exist.

Most of the issues women bitch and moan about are: absolutely tiny quality of life issues, or that they don't even realize would be an absolute privilege it is compared to how society is setup for men in that respect, or that they represent as an issue when no discrimination is found. They also generally already have far more support than any issues men face, so there's little reason for a men's rights sub to focus on these issues.

Women's issues also have far more funding and societal support than any men's issues.

1) Feminists focus on female genital mutilation. Garner support from governments around the world, social media, etc. Actually get some progress but only towards FGM. Men push for more protection of our sons and suddenly it's "this sub acts like women's rights issues don't exist". The women go on and push to keep circumcision of boys. No, we know the women's issues exist, but they already have huge amounts of support, and frankly, men aren't saying it shouldn't include FGM either. Just a ban on child genital mutilation as a whole. The FGM argument is one that's constantly weaponized against MRM as "men ignoring women's issues" when frankly it's purely projection and it's women taking that stance with men, or actively fighting to keep male genital mutilation.

2) Then you have women's issues in which the alternative is worse, such as when they get approached by men too much. Such complaints are just absolutely mind boggling from the point of view of an average guy. We don't have entire pages of candidates making themselves available to us for dates on any given day. Men are expected to do all the heavy lifting from introductions / money / leading the relationship. Online dating is a depressing scene for 80%+ of men, but women act like the victims in all of this. Again, being weaponized as an issue "men just don't understand" or "men just act like it doesn't exist". No, we know it exists, but feminists just don't understand that the alternative is far worse.

3) Women claim there's a pay gap, yet there's never been any study showing any pay gap for the same job at the same company. If anything, studies of companies such as google found they paid women more on average. The pay gap is a myth derived from the total income earned by women vs the total income earned by men, including unemployed. Why are we comparing a female arts school dropout to a big bux male actor? MUH WAGE GAP. Yes, that's right. There's no wage gap. And any potential earnings gap (from the so called women being locked out of C suite positions) has been thoroughly addressed with laws mandating a certain percentage of women on the board (but men don't have the same privilege). So yea, lying to make an issue out of thin air.

[–]sTixRecoil 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I entirely agree with all this, but what does MRM stand for? I've never heard that b4

[–]KalegNar 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

MRM == Men's Rights Movement

(And for posterity: MRA == Men's Rights Activist)

[–]sTixRecoil 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Okay, thanks I was sure

[–]Ahielia 44 points45 points46 points 5 years ago (65 children) | Copy Link

Because this sub acts like women's rights issues don't exist

Take your trolling elsewhere.

[+][deleted] -44 points-43 points-42 points 5 years ago (64 children) | Copy Link

Okay then, name a woman's rights issue if you think they exist.

[–]idontwanttobeavirgin 21 points22 points23 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

oh it does exist but the thing is that feminists don't give two fucks about the actual womans issues

[+][deleted] -13 points-12 points-11 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Then what are the "actual woman's issues"?

[–]Onithyr 12 points13 points14 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The infantilization of women. You know, the very thing that this judgment reinforces.

[–]idontwanttobeavirgin 15 points16 points17 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

you not knowing them proves my point but i will enlighten you real womans issues isn't why i have to hide my period or why doesn't my boyfriend buy me tampons or a fake wage gap or patriarchy cause that shit doesn't exist in the west its honor killings in iran or genitql mutilation in some arabic countries or woman being less than men just because they have vaginas and some even getting burned by acid raped and buried alive killed for showing their hair and lots of other shit that i cant even remember

[–]sTixRecoil 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

An important thing to point out is bon of that happens legally in us, Canada, etc because I'm tired and don't feel like typing them all. People act like we all are in on this giant scene to mistreat woman lol.

[–]bufedad 22 points23 points24 points 5 years ago (53 children) | Copy Link

Oh yeah, women's issues that exist.

Men aren't jailed just because a woman accuses him of rape. That proves women are raped and nothing is done.

[+][deleted] -27 points-26 points-25 points 5 years ago (52 children) | Copy Link

Thanks for proving me right that this doesn't think women's rights issues exist.

[–]bufedad 28 points29 points30 points 5 years ago (47 children) | Copy Link

Why don't you tell us of a womens rights issue where men have more rights than women in the first world?

Come on.... this is your chance to pro e you're more than a troll and can make actual points that prove bias in this sub

[–]Yeeticus1505 21 points22 points23 points 5 years ago (31 children) | Copy Link

[+][deleted] -9 points-8 points-7 points 5 years ago (30 children) | Copy Link

[–]noisecel 14 points15 points16 points 5 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

This HAS to be u/ObviousObservations. She would rebuttal against users calling them a troll by just saying “Not a feminist.” or “Not a troll.” EXACTLY the way you are now. On top of that you type just like them, make the same bad faith arguments, and it wouldn’t be the first time she came back after making an “egalitarian” throwaway account

So yeah. Pack it up, troll

[–]XLandonSkywolfX 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago* (14 children) | Copy Link

Why would I try when confirmation bias is in play. I'm smart enough to realize that no issue I could bring up is worthy enough to you...because the only issues you care about is the ones that directly affect you as a man.

No matter what I say, you will find a way to make it affirm your negative bias towards women.

I am done with you and your stonewalling.

[–]bufedad 13 points14 points15 points 5 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

[+]convallen7 points 5 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

How about actually engaging in the question? Please name one

[–]Njordin -5 points-4 points-3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thats a very loaded question. Which women and where? White women in the western hemisphere the US with no immigrant and/or religious background?

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I may try that.

[–]Agitated_Kiwi_7964 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Idk amid it's a right but women do get unwanted attention. But that's a double edged sword. You have your creepers but it also means the right eyes might be on you vs men who need to REALLY stand out if they want any attention at all. So pick your poison 🤷‍♂️

[–]Dantalian1506 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thats not a gendered rights issue lmao

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

I wouldn't say that's as much of a gender specific issue. Men get unwanted attention too.

I'd say a woman specific issue is the fear of crime that is forced upon us. From the time I was a teenager I was taught to be afraid that I'd get molested or abducted if I went anywhere alone.

And feminism is part of the problem. They use fear based rhetoric saying all men are pigs and we should just avoid them. I feel like a lot of woman spend a lot of time reading horror stories that confirm their fears. I myself am guilty of that.

[–]Agitated_Kiwi_7964 16 points17 points18 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's just indoctrination at that point. That's not gender specific. The details are (saying that men will try and abuse you) but how it's being said isn't. It's just like when men are told you can't hit a woman even if she's wailing on you out of fear that the man will receive a harsh punishment.. which almost always happens. Younger generations are better about both scenarios but it's still true.

[–]DarkLordKindle 10 points11 points12 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why would you crosspost a men's rights issue to feminist subs.

Because feminists claim that 'feminism' is for equal gender rights. That there is no need for MRAs as feminism is already fighting for equal treatment for men and women. They back this up by showing up protesting, attacking, and harrassing MRAs everytime mens rights activists try to meet up, hold seminars, or protest sexist laws.

In theory, feminism could absolutely work alongside with MRAs. But in practice, they have done more to harm mens rights, than they have to improve womens rights. In the last 20-30 years.

[–]ApprehensiveMail8 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

Underrated comment, but I disagree a bit.

"Do not use other people's presence as a wastebasket for your words and feelings." All communication must have a present request. Something the other person can do right now.

-Dr. Marshall Rosenberg

On Reddit, at least, it seems like a lot of "feminist" subs exist simply because women want a place to vent to other women. Males learn to avoid these places as our presence there simply make us wastebaskets for other people's words and feelings that don't pertain to us. There is no present request for males. There is nothing for males to really change, accomplish, or do on women's behalf beyond what most men are already doing.

And perhaps in the future, subs like this one could work the same way. Just a place for males to vent.

But it doesn't really work that way for men's rights in 2021. In present times there is a pressing need for many women to make many changes and accomplishment on male behalf. Please listen, women. We actually want you to do something.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago* (13 children) | Copy Link

If you want male oriented places to vent, I recommend r/TrueOffMyChest, r/mensrants, and r/malementalhealth.

I feel like there isn't much I can do. I can't make the feminists who have power listen to me. I'm just a working class woman and the most I can do is spread awareness irl.

Just because I am a woman doesn't mean I have any power over the law. If someone says men are trash irl I'll be sure to correct them, but I haven't met anyone irl who is like the feminists on Twitter and in FDS.

And, as a reminder, just because I want equal rights for men doesn't mean I'm going to agree with shit like "The majority of women only care about themselves." I'm not going to let sexism pass, whether it is said by a woman or man. Everyone must be held accountable.

[–]DarkLordKindle 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

but I haven't met anyone irl who is like the feminists on Twitter and in FDS.

Im really surprised at this. Id say easily half the women i met at college were the tumblr/twitter style feminists.(not the colored hair sterotype, but the other kind). And about 5% of women i met are the FDS style.

Really makes me glad i am attracted to men and not women. I feel sorry for all my male friends who want to live the white picket fence lifestyle with 2-4 kids and a loving wife. While obviously there are untrue statements like 'The majority of women only care about themselves." Is hyperbole, the increase of entitlement going around along with the normalization or hate towards men makes male/female dating look like a minefield.

I appreciate that you are doing your small part to raise awareness, and do the right thing in your life.

I have a few friends who are feminists but to me their fear and anger seemed aimed at specific men in their lives. The men who abused them.

They also had men they did love. Their fathers. Their boyfriends.

[–]DarkLordKindle 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

If someone wants to hate and rage at a specific abuser, fine. Great even. But when that translates into condoning the abuse of all men, or future men(in cases of MGM), by the power of the state or culture. I can no longer not condemn such people.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

They don't condone the abuse of all men. I never heard them say the things this sub says feminists say. They don't condone the abuse of all men.

[–]DarkLordKindle 10 points11 points12 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

MGM is abuse of men. I have yet to meet in person a feminist who is against MGM on the basis of care for the man. I have met 2(self proclaimed) feminists who were against it, but only because they like uncut dicks for sex more than cut.

So when feminism is fighting against genital mutilation and lobbying against FGM in the law books, they purposefully only include female mutilation, and dont have it be a gender neutral law.

That is just one example.

If you want to see true evidence from a fully sourced and documented resource. Watch the movie documentary "the red pill" its a documentary created by a feminist who believed it was the job of feminism to fight for mens rights as well. Its 5 bucks on amazon video as of 4 years ago. It might be free on other sites now.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I'll admit, I don't know for a fact their views on circumcision (MGM). But from what I've seen circumcision is just one of those awful things that everyone does but that is very hush hush about it. So I honestly didn't know the scale of it until I heard my nephew was getting circumcised and I spoke up about it and how it can be incredibly painful. They didn't listen to what I said at all:

[–]sTixRecoil 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I see your point, but it's also a problem bc of the girls coming out of high school and those who are in it currently. I know of at least 3 people who falsely claimed rape (I know it was false bc I happened to be with all 3 of the people they blamed at the time getting lunch. With cameras. And there were 3 people who claimed to be raped at the same time in different places.like.the SAME EXACT TIME. ) And I live in a rather small town. I cant even imagine how bad it is in larger cities. That being said I also know someone who actually was raped, but its worth noting that it was by someone who was caught and arrested within an hour of it being reported and proven. But even regardless of literal video evidence of it being false, there are people claiming it wasn't who hate men just for the sake of it. There are way more people out there like that than there should be.

Here's an idea: don't toss yourself into a sub with the idea of making people stop butting heads, and then butt heads. Heck, even posting bait like

because this sub acts like women's rights issues don't exist

puts the validity of your motive in question.

Surely you must realize with parent's comment and the recommendations you gave on your own, social policing men in one of the few areas they can vent isn't going to sit well. Young men, let alone guys on Reddit, aren't exactly welcomed for making any kind of remark on women, getting gaslighted and ostracized immediately. Directly coming in to fight any kind of animosity or whatever isn't going to sit well and at best proves an immense lack of tact and social intelligence.

The status quo gender movement allows its members to dismiss statistics in favor of feelings while actively trying to deny its "rival", for lack of better terms, a podium to talk on. Maybe that's a good reminder as to why butting heads with the angry guys here isn't the best course of action.

Was looking for a comment like this. Thank you!

I also agree women still face issue's but this is mainly on the middle east and not the western world (Where feminists are far more promiment and accepted/permitted) and where women in general live far better lives than men.

[–]ApprehensiveMail8 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That sounds like hypoagency to me.

First, you can work hard, and empatheticly and succeed in business, politics or any other arena. Just like everyone else.

Second, the disadvantages males face are rooted in unfair laws, but are highly personal. We face family/dating pressure from females to breadwin for them. We are not protected from either acts of rape or false rape accusations. We often have no friends. Incels have trouble just getting access to sex, and are vilified for it.

Even if you can't change the law, you can choose to treat men better.

[–]Chaos_Therum 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

So maybe this sub acts like they don't exist but from what I've seen of the wider MRM they accept that women's issues exist and in many cases they speak as much to those issues as they do to men's issues.

[–][deleted] -5 points-4 points-3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And I acknowledge that. That's why I'm referring to this sub specifically.

[–]YouLookGoodInASmile 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Feminism is (said to be) about equality.. that includes mens rights.

Mens rights is *Gasp* about mens rights!

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Well guess what despite what feminism says it's really about women. If you wanna be the better equality movement, include women's rights too.

[–]YouLookGoodInASmile 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Guess what the definition of feminism is.. Its the fight for equal rights of men AND women.

At least thats what it should be. Frankly it hasnt been for awhile (see india. Almost every feminist rallied against gender neutral laws)

This is a movement for mens rights.

If you think it should include women as well for equality (even though these issues dont affect women..) then feminism should include men.

You're a hypocrite.

[+]bringer108 -7 points-6 points-5 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Gotta say I agree with this.

We’re not here to say “Our issues are more important!” That doesn’t help anything.

No reason for things like this to divide us further. I’m sure any sane person who reads this is thinking the same thing we are. “WTF!?”

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

We are already divided. The two movements refuse to cooperate because the few most vocal activists on each side are at war with each other.

[–]bringer108 -3 points-2 points-1 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No reason for it to divide us further though.

I think we all agree pedophiles are evil, and they exist among men and women right? This shouldn’t be a men vs women issue, this is a WTF story we should all be disgusted with and I don’t think we need to Xpost this to feminist pages in a bid to be petty and whatabouts right now.

It’s easy to think the end is nigh when you’re on these subs everyday but remember it’s mostly angry people lashing out in the comments. Most of these issues we all agree are problems and IRL I can talk about any of this stuff with my guy/girl friends so easily, nobody gets this animated about it at lunch time. We just sit and talk and agree we need to try everyday to be a little bit better than we were the previous day.

Judge's middle name should be Injustice

[–]nflcansmd 27 points28 points29 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Helpful reminder that threatening a judge is a crime in most countries and no complaints can be made into the decision as it uses the experts opinion and is an issue for appeal as it is not due to the Judge's conduct.

The Crown should be appealing this as it sets a horrible precedent and I imagine the High Court or Supreme Court (if English or Welsh) or the Privy Council would overrule this as even if she didn't do it for sexual gratification she still intended to commit sexual acts with a child. The fact she did it repeatedly to the toddler and attempted to procure videos of pedophilia show that she is a pedophile and that is not due to her husband as it predates the meeting but rather due to a pre-existent issue.

It is near impossible for a judge not to use the experts testimony as both the prosecution and defence agreed on an expert and it is clear that the prosecution should have got another expert.

[–]HenryCGk 19 points20 points21 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

“Dr. Pearce testified that the current research suggests that women do not suffer from paraphilic disorders apart from masochism. This fact lends further weight to the conclusion that pedophilia does not apply to you.”

Paraphilic disorders are recurrent, intense, sexually arousing fantasies, urges, or behaviors that are distressing or disabling and that involve inanimate objects, children or nonconsenting adults, or suffering or humiliation of oneself or the partner with the potential to cause harm.

Effectively saying women don't get any kind of fetish, "except for being a masochist". Who let that psychiatrist have a degree, let alone a doctorate?

[–]HPUnicorn 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

“I’m not saying there’s no such thing as a female pedophile, but it is almost an exclusively male disorder.

“That’s not to say no woman has it. There may be some outliers. But women (sex offenders) usually offend for other reasons, not because of an innate sexual attraction to children.”

Yet what of female teachers who’ve become sexually involved with young students?

“These are damaged, needy, lonely women,” says Pearce, “not necessarily pedophiles.”

Absolutely sickening level of copium.

[–]ssshhhhhhhhhhhhh 18 points19 points20 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

So women can't be pedophiles. They'll just sexually abuse kids for other reasons. How is that any better? Isn't that even worse?

I don't see any difference for the child.

[–]hotcurrypowder 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Exactly. Kids who have been sexually abused will grow up with severe mental health issues regardless if their attacker was a man or a woman. Judges don't seem to take that into consideration.

[–]-who_are_u- 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The fact that they talk about it as a disorder not something completely behavioral and them try to sell it as being gendered while providing absolutely no evidence linking it to sexual chromosomes or reproductive hormones is disgusting.

When did personal opinions get more important than critical thinking and factual analysis?

edit: forgot the question mark

[–]KalegNar 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In regards to it being gendered, I'll read stuff written by MAPs from time to time. And according to them, surveys of places like VirPed (a private online group for non-offending pedophiles) do show a significant male majority. And so overall it's commonly known most MAPs (as far as we know) are male.

Now that does pose an interesting question to me though: Are most pedophiles male because males are more likely to be pedophiles? Or are male pedophiles just more likely to realize they're pedophiles than female pedophiles?

Because overall our society is hyper-focused on the male predator. The woman in this article is one example of minimizing actions towards children by women. But there's the stories of fathers getting cops called on them when they take their own children to the park. So I often wonder if the male pedophile is made more aware because of society's attitudes whereas the female pedophile, insulated from the label by societal attitudes, is less likely to have that internal understanding that she is a pedophile.

[–]IronJohnMRA 137 points138 points139 points 5 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Whether she meets the definition of a pedophile or not should not be the question. She did the acts and there is a victim. There must be a lot missing from this story. It seems to be focused on risk of re-offending, which it describes the reasons she is not likely to do. But it shouldn't mitigate the punishment for what she already did.

[–]afraidofbugz 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Here it is Gentlemen, a degrading instance of disdainful behavior exhibited by a woman and yet, little punishment, negligible consequences.

Modern women have been absolved of literally all accountability today, to the extent that not only social norms, but the law bends to their will, even when they're out in society committing demented acts against the most innocent of human beings.

For the uninitiated, pedophilia in women does exist. Women are not entirely innocent. The prevalence of pedophilia among them is b/w 0.4 to 4 % ^.^ https://www.psychiatrictimes.com/view/psychopathology-and-personality-traits-pedophiles

The girls club strikes again. Sexist pigs in positions of power, brutally applying their misandry to vulnerable children by condoning and excusing child sexual abuse by women. I'd love to say "only in Canada" but this emergence of the "girls club", women excusing women who commit horrendous crimes, is increasingly the leading edge of feminism.

Currently America is the only western country that resists to Feminist paranoid, but I don't know until it will lasts, unhappily those SJWs are trying to turn America into a new Sweden, the Western Civilization is doomed!

[–]CrazzzyConnnorr 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Luckily we have the constitution, for now. Let's hope it lasts as long as it possibly can.

[–]yanonce 16 points17 points18 points 5 years ago (22 children) | Copy Link

Lmao I love the implication that the us has a good juridical system

[–]XLandonSkywolfX 10 points11 points12 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We don’t. Men get the same shit here.

[–][deleted] -4 points-3 points-2 points 5 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link

Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect. Perfect is unachievable. But it's the best the world has seen thus far.

[–]yanonce 10 points11 points12 points 5 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link

Well, no. It’s pretty terrible. 76% of released prisoners go back within 5 years. Compared that to a country like Norway, where only 20% get sent back in the same time. America punishes people, without actually helping them, while other “more developed” countries do both.

[–][deleted] -4 points-3 points-2 points 5 years ago* (14 children) | Copy Link

A former prisoner re-offending has nothing to do with the prison system itself. It's personal responsibility, it's individual choices. Prisoners aren't children (usually), and they aren't animals. They have to learn, HEY FUCKO, if you don't want to come back to this place, then don't do that thing again. Which is common sense; if you do (x), then (y) will happen, so don't do (x)! I'm not going to have sympathy for someone who puts their hand on a hot stove, then they're stupid enough to do it again, thinking that the consequences will be different.

Edit: unless they're mentally handicapped, of course.

[–]queenbla_nk 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Most people turn to crime because it's the only option they are aware of. Most criminals are lower class, poorly educated people who have not been granted the opportunities to move forward in life. Many have not even been taught basic skills for survival.

Free will is limited in that we can only make our decisions based on what we know. If there are 3 doors, but we only know about 2, we have 2 options, that is it.

You can't just go "hey fucko don't do this!" Because for many of those "fuckos" the "this" that they are doing is the only way they know how survive.

You have to teach them skills to accommodate to the outside world and let them know what options they have to live a more productive life.

There's also the problem of the whole one strike rule. When my was 19 he got a felony for selling mushrooms to am undercover cop. He's 44 now and even though there's been no second offense, for literally anything, he still had to settle for a minimum wage job (which fortunately for him thanks to company takeovers finally got him into a lucrative position, after nearly 20 years, but that was pure luck), and he has to have other people sign leases for him because most decent apartment complexes won't let him in even though his felony is minor, non-violent, and over 20 years old) so it kinda puts the person in a position where they have to resort to criminal activity just for basic survival, creating a bit of a revolving door system.

It's all very complex and nuanced and delves deep into the nature vs. nurture, trappings of opportunity and environment. It's not as easy as "don't do this fucko" you are WAY oversimplifying it.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, nonviolent drug offenses are one of the areas where our law enforcement fails horribly, and I deeply do not agree with it.

[–]queenbla_nk 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Well that being said, I do have to add that there's a vast difference between putting your hand on a hot stove because you're curious as to why it's red, and choosing to be a coke dealer because it's the only job (for lack of a better word) that you can get that nets you enough money to pay rent.

I don't agree with that choice but I can understand why some people feel compelled to make it.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link

I'm not talking about doing it the first time; I'm talking about doing it the second time, thinking that the results will be different. Re-offending. The first time, hell, I couldn't blame you for not knowing things. You can't fix what you don't know is broken.

[–]queenbla_nk 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

But the prison system it's highly punitive. Locking someone away and leaving them rot in solitude isn't going to teach them anything. They aren't going to magically learn to be productive members of society just because you put them behind bars.

That's why they reoffend. The core issue of why they offended in the first place hasn't been addressed. The coke dealer is still gonna have to pay rent after he gets out of jail, and he's still in a situation where dealing coke is the only way he can do that. In fact that tends to be exacerbated (as I said) due to the one strike rule, because even if they were aware of those opportunities upon leaving jail, they're not there for him anymore so he's back to square one.

(Note, I'm saying him not because drug dealers are guys, but because the justice system puts heavier punishments on male offenders and they're the ones most likely to be screwed).

[–]thekoggles 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah you have no idea what you're talking about, no wonder you think the US justice system is the best in the world.

[–]yanonce 10 points11 points12 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Well USA has the world biggest prison population by far. So with your points in mind I can only see 3 options. 1: the juridical system is terrible. 2: Americans are idiots. 3: a combination of 1 and 2

[+][deleted] 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

[permanently deleted]

[–]queenbla_nk 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not to mention how many countries execute their offenders.

[–]yanonce 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Oh yeah you definitely separate them from non criminals. So much so that you never really let the back into society. Why else would so many other people go straight back to jail? And what do you mean “its obvious you hate American and Americans”? Your first message started with “Not an American case. That explains everything.” Lol

[–]Solace2010 -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]FlatTire2005 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Did someone hold a gun to her head? BDSM isn’t slavery. If she got off on being humiliated, that doesn’t excuse her raping a child. She can be humiliated in other ways. If she’s innocent, then shouldn’t the guy be charged with having a slave?

The mental gymnastics these sick fucks will go through to defend a (edit: female. Cause that matters, apparently) child rapist is amazing.

[–]Au_contraire_zippy 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is also why so many men are becoming women. Trudeau and his C-6 bill where accusing a Trans of a crime is "hate speech".

[–]rabel111 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Canadian courts condoming and excusing the sexual assault of children by women. Going woke = going to the local early childhood centre for an "all-you-can-eat" buffet of underage sexual victims.

[–]MEGAKINGJAKE 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Proof the system and society has double standards when it comes to gender. Women get away with a lot cause they women they need to stop bitching

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Nevertheless, this case disgusts me to no end. I can't stop thinking about how viscerally awful this woman was to the baby.

I hope she gets life in prison.

[–]imextremelymoderate 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

A man made her do it. She's the victim here. /s

[–]CooperKravitz 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

People should be rioting about this. Instead they are rioting because “pOliCe BAd” and protest about being called the wrong pronoun. Yet they won’t give a crap about women getting let off easy for sexually abusing our children. If that was my kid I wouldn’t let that woman see the light of day and do the justice that the courts failed to do.

[–]ConsequenceCorrect14 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

what did yall expect, if the society thinks that women cant be pedos than the law system will think so too

[–]EgalitarianFacts 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This fuckin' shit 'civilization', I use the term very loosely here, needs to burn.

[–]Aelspeth87 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Are you fucking kidding me?! Of course women can be bloody paedophiles! Jesus Christ! I don’t give a shit if her ‘master’ told her to do it, I’d rather slit my own throat than do what this woman did to that child, and that’s not hyperbole, I don’t know how anyone could a - do that at all and b - live with themselves afterwards even if they did it to save their own lives. Your mind would be destroyed afterwards knowing what harm you had caused that poor little boy, and there’s only one way out of doing something like that if you had been forced to do it.

[–]Ariliescbk 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

HOW IN THE FUCK IS THAT NOT PEDOPHILIA!?!?!? seriously, only one gender can have this psychiatric issue?

[–]Borbatos_lupus_rex 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is just fucking stupid

[–]Electroverted 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Should've led with "Canada". That place is a bigger nanny state than Britain.

[–]Fine_Musician_1016 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

TIL that Canadian courts think that BDSM includes sexually abusing children 🥴

[–]IamPregananant 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

God I feel like I’m lucky I’m to lazy to do anything besides my household chores so I don’t have to get caught in the crossfire of crazy shit like this.

[–]IpsenSpiegel 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This article seems to be from 3 years ago.

I know there are a lot of problems with how women and men are perceived and that it's important to keep pointing stories about how women are not taken responsible for their acts.

But reposting the same stories over and over again does not help our credibility.

[–]HipEvilMidget 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Why don't we just execute people like this? Seriously. Fuck rehabilitation. They are scum. They deserve to die.

[–]TigPlaze 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Disgusting. It's a clown world when one gender gets a pass to molest kids. I guess I'm a radical. I think it's equally bad regardless of whether a man or a woman does it. I know, I know. I'm nuts.

Actual quote:

Dr. Pearce testified that the current research suggests that women do not suffer from paraphilic disorders apart from masochism.

What. The. Fuck.

[–]mikesteane 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

This very case proves otherwise.

[–]non-troll_account 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's an aboslutely mad position, and the research that has been done suggests that there is a clear bias among the relevant diagnosticians (psychiatrists, pyschologists, doctors, etc.) with regards to gender and paraphilic and other psychiatric conditions.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5829224/

So the ACTUAL fact is that current research suggests that Mental Health Professionals regularly fail to diagnose women with ACTUALLY PRESENT paraphilic disorders, while inccorectly diagnosing men with paraphilic disorders which ARE NOT PRESENT.

What's more, the evidence suggests that mental health professionals have a bias toward diagnosing masochism in women.

This is aboslutely goddamn bonkers

In times to come people will look back at "expert witnesses" with their assessments the same way we look back at witch trials today.

I remember this when it was all brought up. They launched a campaign to impeach the judge to. Shows you that people don’t play around or just ignore this stuff as it seems.
