I've been following FDS now for 3 months and I'm really happy with my progress. I have aspergers and tend to always give men the benefit of the doubt because I can't read other people and was also raised without boundaries from the men in my life so, it's been an eye opening journey.

This guy started talking to me while I was doing my food shopping. The conversation flowed nicely, he seems really nice, he's alright looking. When I mentioned I have dogs he said "maybe I could come over sometime and see them" - after having just met me, and he asked where abouts I live. He mentioned that he just started a job at a supermarket nearby, and when I put my number in his phone he has a relic of a nokia, which I found a bit strange Then we text back and forth a bit, he initially suggests going to the park and throwing a frisbee around, when I ask if this was supposed to be a date or not he switches to taking me for a meal, which a table is booked for tomorrow. He keeps saying how pretty I am, and how any date is fine so long as he gets to see me again. He asked for my address so he can pick me up in a taxi - which indicates to me that he can't drive.

And then here's the biggest thing that's setting off my gut feeling about this guy, I'm 21 and I asked his age over text last night.

He's 31.

He's not bothered about my age seemingly, but keeps going on about how he's a "sprightly lad" and how people think he looks younger than he is, and asking me how old I thought he looked.

I'm getting friends and family telling me 10 years isn't too big of a gap, and I can go on the date and give him a chance anyway, but now I think that to spend any time getting ready and going out with this guy would be a waste of my time, so why even entertain it for the sake of some novelty or an evening out?

Edit: I've never given him my address when he's asked

Update: I told him I'm too busy with uni work, he didn't take no for an answer 4 times and kept trying to make plans to see me this weekend. Now he keeps sending me texts about why I should give him a chance and see him as soon as possible. I haven't responded to them and I'm glad I cancelled
