One time a girl friend of mine made a fake tinder profile with pics from an insta model. This girl was beautiful, but clearly surgically enhanced.

She swiped right on all the guys that said "if you are shallow or fake, swipe left. Only natural girls". Every single guy swiped right on her. She would ask them "oh I wasn't sure we would match because you wanted natural girls and I have breast and bottom implants" and they all answered with "ooohh but there are always exceptions", one even said "well my sister also has breast implants and she is such a nice person so..."

They lie. A lot. They will never tell you they like the makeup, the fake breasts, the skimpy clothes, but they loooooove it. They jerk off to it. They follow it on Instagram.

Ah, the madonna-whore complex. Men think the first one would be a good wife and mother, the 2nd one is considered a sex object.

They want their wives to be "natural looking" because they don't want her to catch the attention of another man. He also wants a "low maintenance" incubator for his spawn.

Because women are selective and men aren't, we think a man is lying when he says he wants a "natural looking" woman and goes after the woman who wears tons of makeup and has had plastic surgery.

Instead of being picky (like women are), men will stick their dick in anything they can get but will then compartmentalize women based on their utility to him.

The “what he says he likes” frame should be a woman actually not wearing makeup, and the first frame here should be “what he means he likes” since men’s idea of natural beauty is basically still a full face of makeup, sans heavy eyeshadow or lipstick.

I remember when my then-bf got mad at me when I asked him to unfollow accounts that kept posting their nudes on IG. I felt insecure because he kept following and liking their pictures, but every time I tried to be sexy for him he’d go “I’m too tired.” “Anyways...” and to the point where I asked him if he found me attractive and he said “Yes. You’re attractive but you’re not the most attractive”. It’s killed my self esteem, and when I brought it up later on after we broke up that he made me feel insecure, he got mad and said I was lying and that he never made me feel insecure.

I'm uncomfortable with this. These women are people, not things. "The kimd of woman he says he likes vs the kind of woman he looks at in public" would not be objectifying, choosing to label them "what" doesn't feel right.

Also both women have a ton of effort poured in their look and are very conventionally attractive so I think I get what it is trying to say but it's a bit weird to me.

It feels like pitting women against each other with misogyny.
