About 20 years ago my parents wanted to introduce me to this girl. She was the daughter of my parents friends and was in law school. She was fit, pretty with jet black hair. I was cleaning carpets for a living. I showed interest, she didn’t care for a carpet cleaner.

I sold my carpet cleaning business and went back to college and became a doctor of pharmacy.

A few days ago my father calls me asking me if I remembered that girl. I told him I had no idea who she was until he mentioned how they tried to fix me up with her and she told her parents she won’t date a carpet cleaner.

Well...although she finished law school, she never passed the bar. In addition she has been living with her mom all these years (her father passed away 4 years ago).

She had a fight with her mom and her mom kicked her out. She had no where to go and since I have a decent size house with a finished basement, my father wanted to know if I would let her stay there for a while.

I explained to my father that I don’t help women because women don’t help men. He looked confused and I said “if you were homeless...do you know of any woman who you haven’t been in contact for years who would take you in?!” A light bulb went up in his head.
