I hope that you don't find this post frivolous, but it is something I have been dwelling on since I began to read about the feminization of schools, and how it disadvantages boys.

When I was at school, (Second Grade I think) my teacher employed a policy of 'no two boys together,' this applied to class seating arrangements, when standing in a queue, on trips etc. There were more girls in the class than boys, and girls were allowed to sit together, and those who had to sit next to boys were told that it was because boys are poorly behaved and disruptive.

It was upon reading this article, that I decided to write this post, I remember believing the same things when I was at school: that girls were smarter than boys; boys were more disruptive etc.

Now I feel that the actions this teacher employed and the things they said to belittle the boys in the class was part of this feminization.

I am not sure what I am seeking to gain with this post, I just felt like I needed to air my story.
