Relationships take time and effort, your company not being terrible doesn’t mean it’s enough to want to be with you. It’s the same with men btw - they just have a higher incentive as they tend to be lonelier and hornier.

It isn’t really about being better than her either - you can lack in certain areas as long as being with you is better than being single.

Go for below average women with the same struggles as you have. No, not just on looks, WHOLE DESIRABILITY being below average. You likely are not factoring in how undesirable you are and are trying to get women who are out of your league.

Take your own medicine and "lower your standards" until they match what you are, desirability wise.

They just want a man who matches. Women who haven't been in relationships don't tend to have an issue with a man who's the same and in fact prefer it. The women these "below average" men are having trouble with are the ones everyone else likes too. Women who are looking for what you describe as "better" in men are bringing their own things to the table, neither side is investing in just nothing. And the vast majority of people are still having sex.

There's a lot to unpack here but women are usually fairly low on pragmatism and tend be intuitive thinkers. It's why they often have a hard time fully explaining their own actions.

That said, statistically the actual average guy, does get laid. Only the bottom what 30% seems to have severe issues here. So I guess it's just a matter of improving yourself to claw above that bottom percent. There will always be some that don't so it seems like a fairly easy goal.

The average guy is getting laid, and having relationships. The guys who are struggling extremely bad are not part of the average and usually they’re the main the reason they’re doing so bad with dating.

Like this guy I used to crush on. He is horrible when it comes to maintaining a social life and doesn't put in the effort needed. However, he wants to complain about how lonely he is. At this point, he’s in his mid 30s. If he can’t figure it out, that’s on him.

The extent to which average men struggle with girls whose SMV rank matches their own is contested. However, to the extent it is true, one has to remember that our own ability to be attracted to people only scales imperfectly with our own SMV rank. You can get to a point where being naked with your opposite sex equivalent is still not attractive to you, even if you do not feel you yourself are any better. This is more true for women whose libido is less robust and whose disgust thresholds are higher.

So IMO if average and below guys are struggling even with women in their own leagues it is because these men are below the level that can inspire true desire in women, even women of equal SMV rank. How much of that is cultural and how much is biological is unclear. It's also possible these men are less attractive in absolute terms than men of such an SMV rank would have been in times past. So yeah, without that male libido, a lot of women will decide to stay single if they are not attracted to the men they can land. That's not being pragmatic; that's avoiding the trauma of sex with a man you don't desire.

No they’re having a hard time because they’re not being realistic about the type of women they can actually get… I’ve seen a lot of you dudes on here say you won’t date an overweight woman or a woman past 30 or a woman with kids, some of you also have a racial and height preference as well, etc. a lot of your standards are higher than you think they are, and think you’re entitled to a woman who’s better looking than you are… a lot of you dudes are simply not being realistic about the type of women you can get🤷🏽‍♀️

Every time I start dating a new woman, I ask her what she brings to the table from a relationship perspective. Most of the time she has no answer and then in turn asks me the same question and I am able to perfectly articulate what I do bring to the relationship. A good first step would be being able to articulate what you as a man bring to the relationship and even better if you can articulate what makes you a superior choice to all the other men that are vying for her attention.

Women just don't like weak and incompetent men. They like strong, competent men with some edge and excitement to them. Whether women admit it or not; they want a man that makes them second guess whether he'll cheat on her or not. They don't want a man who had sex with her for the first time, and is now attached to her hip. They want a man that makes her feel like he could leave her at any second.

I think a lot of men have a hard time not projecting their mindset onto women. They think women want the same things that they do, and that women want peace and love instead of chaos.

I don't think I'm dead average because I get women without trying BUT I have had a few tell me they fell in love because I had "fatherly qualities" and it turned them on two of them said they never considered having children until they met me.

I think a lot of average guys want an exclusive fuck buddy whos cool with them playing StarField all day.

A lot of average guys aren't showing fatherly qualities or many other primordial male qualities that give women the tingles as they say. They appear as dead weight even if they make good money they can seem self obsessed with their hobbies like they don't know how to provide. They are being the opposite of pragmatic dumbass. Pragmatic would be to prepare for unforeseen issues and risks that can arise now and in the future by being prudent. How you ask? By being realistic. Accepting that chasing some imagined ideal is being pragmatic. Accepting something average than being lonely for most of your life or being passed around is being pragmatic. Accepting that perfect relationships are built, not found. Maybe lay off the meth there. Because you can't even tell what pragmatic means. And neither can the women these days.
