I’m always aware of the orbiters. I called my ex out on hers and she let them all go. Then, when I broke up with her, she just got on tinder and had 500 likes within a few hours. She started telling me that she was going on dates with men she found way hotter than me and was sending nudes to one guy she said she had way better sexual chemistry with than me and who she thought would be better at sex than me (oh, and he was so good looking and fun that he made her anxious and no men, including me, ever made her anxious - OUCH). Lol. Doesn’t matter if they have a backup man lined up or not. They have the world at their fingertips anyways.

What was the question? It certainly wasn't "do you have a back up man" . If I was given that question I'd have to ask them to define it.

Dollars to doughnuts the question was something like "do you know a man other than your partner who finds you attractive" .

I have no back up man. I have a few that would like to be back up men, but I am not interested. It’s not women’s fault that men want sex from us. All we can do is consistently turn them down. Which I do. One of them I block whenever he turns up on my social media but it’s like Whack-A-Mole. My husband is aware and has stepped in a time or two but in general he trusts me to handle myself.

Loyalty in the way we want to believe it in general is incredibly scarce and we waste most of our time in these delusions, and these arrangements under false pretenses.

The honest answer is that people regardless of sex truly do like to overestimate their ability to keep up with what they want to exist for themselves in a partnership which perpetuates this blind power dynamic.

Female loyalty exists as much as the male equivalent of these lackluster statistics which is why many of us straight folk here feel drawn to protect ourselves against the opposite sex. It’s hard to take it personally when you view it all this way in realizing as that we naturally self involved humans just want to survive and walk around the rest of our lives in one piece when being intimate and making investments even to the detriment of not empathizing with other men/women despite the similar “condition” or reality.

It’s easy to play the blame game low or highkey when deep down you feel like a victim even if that realization disgusts or obliterates how put together we want to feel.

Ive personally never had a backup man. Im not even talking to other men like that when I have a man. If I need some 'backup' why am I dating him in the first place?

Also if we split, I need to be alone and another man is the last thing I want. Im secure attached though so I dont feel the need to have a backup or jump on another D.

It's just biology. For females the consequences of making a bad mate choice are enormous compared to males so naturally it's beneficial to have a man on the back burner.

Same is reflected in motivation for infidelity with men generally just seeking sexual variety while women generally seek to divest themselves from an undesirable relationship.

Edit: And this Incel stuff completely misunderstands evolution. You can't condemn women for behaving exactly as they should behave. If you were a woman you'd do the exact same.

If I were to live in the bad timeline and we broke up, I'm like...90% sure I'd never date anyone again, I'd just move to live near my best female friend and dedicate myself to training and having a string of oddball jobs. I feel like I'd really have lost the love of my life. So no, I don't have a back-up man going on unless my best girlfriend, jiu jitsu, and work count.

If the question is do most women have a back up plan in general, I think most of us are far too neurotic not to have a general sense of what we'd do if thinks went to shit.

But to be fair. I've had a back up plan about my parents dying too since I was 7. This is just how the neurotic mind thinks when it cares very deeply about something.

1 out of 5 of the 43% of women (about 9%, but tbh, the stats aren't super clear here) admitted that the backup man was a friend of their partner
1 out of 10 of the 43% of women (again, stats are super unclear, but let's say 4%) said the backup man already confessed undying love

These two stats seriously draw the loyalty of your male "bros" into question. I genuinely thinking fucking one of your close friend's partners/exes is worse than cheating. If these stats are true, some fucking bros us men have.
