I used to be really red and gradually mellowed out. Mostly because of getting more life experience and realizing women are neither wonderful nor the monsters TRP makes them out to be. Most women are somewhere in between.

Seeing some of the arguments here, especially by purple flaired posters helped me interpret the evidence of my eyes. Centrism seriously lacks cool factor in most areas of life and wins you few friends but honestly, you usually find truth somewhere in the middle.

Maybe there are good girls left. It motivates me to improve and go back to shagging.

I like the fact that men over here are mature and know what's up, it also gives me motivation to be a better man.

Yes, mind changed by some things.

I thought almost all men could have sex/relationships if they wanted them, but you guys tell me a lot can't, and I believe you. Must be a lot of women who are just not bothering to date. I don't believe women are all chasing chad - it's just not what I see.

I didn't have a good concept of the level of hate many men hold towards women until this forum, and now I see it clearly. Women cannot win that war. There is no logic that can outlogic that kind of hate and bitterness.

I do understand though how being alone and rejected can turn you to hate and have you believing the worst of the opposite sex. I get it. I can't say I wouldn't be the same about men if I were in your shoes and had been rejected by men.

I've also come to realize that the reason behind a lot of how the world functions is because everyone is afraid of men. Women are afraid of men. Men are afraid of men. And that's why society is structured in the way that it is. Men want women to be a soft place to land and soft and predictable and nurturing etc because they think it's hard enough dealing with other men without women also being hard to deal with. I've gotten that message loud and clear since reading PPD.

I'm still blue, if I have to be a pill at all. Not proudly blue. That's a silly concept. I'm just blue because I'm totally not red and i don't think I'm purple.

Yes, I used to be a self-hating woman that thought that women should sacrifice their well-being to appease men/society. Now I realized that women gain nothing by trying to appease men as most men have absolutely nothing to offer to women, except maybe a headache and self-esteem issues. This sub, along with my personal experiences, helped me realize that men don't deserve anything and their entitlement is disgusting.

Well you shouldn't really view it as some sort of evangelical thing trying to change other people's minds or keep score. I would focus more on your own beliefs.

There are plenty of things I would say that perhaps it would be most accurate to say that I hadn't made my mind up about before coming here, but that I have now "picked a side" as it were. Well, I don't really view it as "picking a side" so much as having made up my mind on certain issues to the point that the common arguments are resolved for me. But sometimes a new angle to things comes along and I reevaluate.

No, it has helped polish off my men are men assumption, it doesn't matter whether it is the mostly condescending ones I deal with at work or the local rednecks at Tractor Supply loving on my dog who is super extro, if anything it makes me appreciate working class men a touch more. On balance they have always been nicer to me. Confirming they all pretty much think the same way is helpful though.

Engaging with the users and women here was a seminal point for me to understand that TRP was only one fork of a woman's double edged dating strategy.

I know it's easy to say "well duh, AF\BB" but you have to understand, it's easy to misrepresent BB as simply the lower of the two choices.

Truth of the matter, from a male perspective, it is. And she'll treat him accordingly, given enough reason to and or time, hamstering, running into the wrong guy at the wrong time etc. But regardless, women absolutely select long term mates differently.

And so when I pulled up studies on mate selection and saw what amounted to a formalized explanation of this, it sort of clicked. What women at PPD omit, is these men are innately less attractive and that they're, most women, are settling.

This becomes mathematically certain as you understand how women select and the pool of said men, anyways. But you see that women select against arousing traits for control over men in their LTRs.

But either way, these women were shouting from the rooftops they don't want RP men for their husbands, and on that point, they're right.

It also helped me understand how people post hoc rationalize things that are easy to observe from the outside. I always thought it was ridiculous that Rollo theorized that women basically conspire against men.

It's far easier to understand it simply that women have the best intentions getting into these relationships and marriages, simply that they don't have the hardware and wide arousal windows to support the moral claims that men have in these relationships.

If we gave men female arousal characteristics and both genders had the same sex drive, men and women would likely behave exactly the same.

These two realizations solved, for me, any incongruence in this forum.

So anything that seems weird, ask yourself if women have this opinion in good faith and they just can't follow through, or if it has to do in regards to the differences in how wide the arousal window is.

I have always been skeptical of the Roissy/Roosh take on the PUA concept of The Red Pill (itself stolen from The Matrix - who have taken the idea from philosophers)

What is interesting is how much "hypergamy" can be mitigated by by being conscientious.

On the other side, it's clear that dating 18-25 year olds is basically a pass to be utterly selfish, because lots of girls in the prime of their lives are drowning in a sea of dicks, so if you manage to snag one, she's lucky to have you.

It just made me far more idealistic, to my detriment IMO. That said, my flair was red and it's now purple, so I do consider myself as someone open to having my mind changed. I'm the type of person that will take a contrarian position as a shit test with my friends, because it helps me to understand their argument more, even if I later agree that they're right.

But if you were presented with a premise with strong evidence and a equally strong logical backing, isn't the rational thing to do is accept this premise and believe it?

I'm open but I basically don't trust anyone's "evidence" here. My main take-away from PPD might be how sub-par the average person's critical thinking skills are; for as much shit as TRP gives liberal arts majors, the "studies" that are shared and the wild conclusions made from said studies (mostly by men) are a direct reflection of a flawed education system, and frankly the reason as to why someone like Trump is president.

When I have seriously looked into common PPD issues (hypergamy, causes of divorce, whether women are monogamous, the okcupid study), I found that the studies were either entirely misinterpreted or that there is enough conflicting data to show that there is just too much variability between people to make any sweeping conclusions.

I originally came here hoping to understand why I kept ending up in what seemed to be the same relationship repeatedly and how I could have more control over that. I quickly learned this wasn't the place to answer that but have stayed probably for the mental masturbation more than anything. Everyone here seems to be so certain of their beliefs in a way that I seem to be inherently incapable of, so it's entertaining.

If anything, this board is a massive confirmation of everything the red pill teaches, and I don't mean that in an evangelical way.

For me the red pill was always first and foremost a discussion among men, not a static set of rules.

There are also ALOT of broken people out there.

Broken men and women talking past each other in bad faith.

Humans when you boil them down are not that complex.

They mostly want comfort and good feels, and they don't care what it takes to get it.

That being said, I think our purpose as men has to be bigger than that.

Women can afford to be petty and insular, men do not have that luxury, we have to think about "everybody" not just ourselves.

The "pro male" thing doesn't work as an actual strategy, it just results in a stalemate, "us vs them" and the only way to break that deadlock is violence, and guess who does most of the killing and dying : us.

The successful male paradigm is inclusive, abundant and has a higher purpose than self-masturbation.

This sub definitely helped me detox from Red. All RP subs have become unbearable echo chambers to me now.

It also put rest to much of the simplistic RP assessment of female attraction (all girls love an alpha bro!!!) when in reality women have a balanced combination of predictable, universal traits and particular, idiosyncratic traits driving their tingles.

This made it easier for me to think in Blue-ish terms as in “there’s somebody (or some people) out there for me”

Now, more recently, with the influx of FDS, it’s really driven home just how similar people are when they adhere to absolutist dogma (FDS/TRP)

These types are equally useless in terms of constructive dialogue as it is incredibly apparent that they are arguing from an entrenched, preconceived position and they simply want to stroke their hate boners.

I went from feminist, thinking men were mostly good but there was just disparity in and old and outdated socio/political structure that needed updating, and that men were merely ignorant of what women experience as a psuedo equal class to full on hating men and realizing men actively participate in the manipulation of and maintenance of these power dynamics and most of them are inherently predatory.

I'm an actual misandrist and think feminism is misled in its trust of men at all.
I must clarify this shift has nothing to do with feminist rhetoric, and is 100% based on what I've observed through TRP, MGTOW, and Meninism.

Tbh, it's made me dislike relationships and the mindset of millennial women. I'd say I'm more redpilled now.

I came across the blackpill late 2018, had that mindset for a while, then found PPD. When I browsed blackpill subs (because they were readily available), I found myself agreeing with them due to what I've experienced in the past. PPD is more healthy, but man the women here are the most solipsistic, entitled, and unaware people I've come across on Reddit. The blackpill made me dislike some women because of memes and stories for how they treated people like me in the past. But now that I've actually engaged with them and seen how they actually think, I'm pretty red pilled. I agree with them on some points (improve, don't be a sperg), but I'm convinced I will never find a woman who doesn't think she's hot shit.

I go to the gym, eat healthy, and try to better myself (things I didn't do due to the blackpill. Thanks PPD), but I still have an overall negative view towards dating and relationships. It's just too one sided, fake, and transactional for me.

Its been insightful more than anything. Things I've learned here helped me put the pieces together in my own life (Why are there not enough hot guys? Why is that perfectly good/average looking guy not arousing? Why has there always been a history of men sex-shaming women?)

I've also learned a great deal about the experiences of the average man. I didn't realize how painful it can be for them when they just want love like anybody else.

I consider myself purplish-black at this point.

I think it actually helped me a bit regarding dating/talking to women in general. I like the women who post here and appreciate their honesty. I enjoy learning about how they think about this stuff. I think a lot of the men/women who post here appear a little bitter sometimes, but I still find insightful conversation here and there.

On the negative side, it changed my mind a little regarding people’s ability to empathize with the opposite sex. It kind of makes me think a lot of women aren’t as emotionally intelligent in some areas as I thought (I knew most men weren’t). Although I would rather know this as opposed to believing a stereotype that may not be true.

Yea it has only pointed out that some men (RP) are actual human garbage. Referring to women as plates, refusing to continue pursuing a woman that won't have sex with them on the 3rd date, etc.

I didn't know about these people before, sure glad I learned about them though. So I can steer clear.

Namely, I have more in common than the older tradcon types than I do the young men, and that's 100% because I feel the young ones act like spoiled, whiny children.

It has expanded my exposure to other points of view. I haven't moved much in my belief system, though I certainly can defend and articulate it much better now. And I have become more empathetic to people with opposing views.

I've become more opinionated, but simultaneously more moderated.

For the record, my views are highly traditionalist (as in Orthodox Religious traditional, not whatever the 1950s were).
