Apart from clear-cut "I am paying my way into this relationship" kinda stuff, I struggle to believe that "beta" men as described in their stereotypes can lock down a woman. Instead, I feel that the case is more of one where the guy enters her frame over time and only then becomes low-quality in her eyes.

The stereotype of "post-wall" women who are frantically looking for a man to have babies with... well, I would assume that they'd just find a good-looking guy to be their sperm donor and then just raise the kid alone? Why would they procreate with a guy they find unattractive??

(Also, I find browsing /r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen quite humorous. Yes, there are some women who are a bit of a mess. But I find it ridiculous whenever the commentors are like '34 and two children? She would match well with some 60 yo'. Like................ no)
