Yes, there are many feminists (or anyone who promotes body positivity) who become hypocritical when it's in regards to someone they don't like.

It's important to note though that this is a discussion that is being held within those communities. There are many people who promote body positivity and sex positivity who do speak out against glaring double standards, like how small dick/big dick is used as a metaphor for a man's character, or how using the amount of sex a man gets as an insult only reinforces the patriarchal standards they hate.

Basically, yes there are people who engage in hypocrisy. There are also people within those same communities who call it out and just anecdotally, the amount of people calling it out is increasing.

People use insults to hurt, not to be in line with the rest of their moral code. Insults are crafted with the information or assumed traits about the person. Most unsuccessful guys here are insecure about their penis, their sexual experience and their relationship future. It's too easy to hit them at their insecurities.

Insults are never polite. They are meant to hurt you, not to validate you. You cam shrug them off, laugh at them because they inaccurate, or fully embrace them and agree (which is what I do when someone calls me a bitch). But you should not let them feed your insecurities.

It depends on what is said to get these insults back at them.

If they are spouting misogynistic crap then yes "you'll never get a woman" seems like an appropriate response for someone out of touch with women and expresses those opinions. While I don't agree with body shaming because penis size is irrelevant unless you're packing a micropenis which is a medical problem and that's awful. My condolences.

I do agree with never getting a woman if you truly are saying and parroting disrespectful ideas on women. Like submission, women are to be seen not heard..it comes from a lack of respect and I don't want to be with someone who doesn't respect me and I don't think anyone wants to be with someone who doesn't respect them. It implies your partner is less than and that's not okay. And men who think that way deserve to be alone and to figure out themselves and their own issues.

Insults are meant to hurt your feelings. A lot of guys have insecurities regarding their sexual prowess, so it would make sense to use that if you wanted to insult someone. Same way guys here try to insult us by calling us fat/ugly/old, they assume we'd be offended by that.

50+ khhv here. I found the single most important thing for a lifetime recluse is to establish a healthy, everyday rhythm. Having a purpose-driven existence is paramount to happiness as a solitary person.

What goes unmentioned in these scenarios? The lack of a healthy rhythm, of intellectual pursuit, of writing letters, of limited, systematic enjoyment of TV without becoming a zombie to it, of any mention of a daily routine.

I remember an article posted elsewhere that caused quite a stir, describing the middle-aged virgin seeking help from a "sex therapist." It painted an unhealthy pattern of the man's life: excessive drinking, smoking, possible overeating and no mention of exercise. This from a man with freedom. He apparently chased the chimera of a "sex therapist" - to the tune of possibly $10,000 or more - but no further "progress" was mentioned. One can't help but think he been better off with a more beneficial personal regimen, one that did not cost all that money for a glorified harlot.

Is it hard? Particularly after half a lifetime of purposeless drifting? Yes. Many won't be able to do it because they do not have the self-discipline to go on to achieve something tangible in real life and would rather spend hours here on reddit pointing fingers at others (usually women, in this group) for the emptiness in their lives.

Any variation of "you'll never get a woman/you'll never get laid" is used by women who believe that they're inherently more valuable by being a woman, and that men who don't sleep with lots of women are somehow missing out on life.

Sex is the only unit of value they understand.
