The key here (as in most things) is nuance. It’s hard out for the boys. It takes a bit of effort and leg work to even get a date, so understandably some newbie guys get super excited and want to go all out to build connection and make the girl feel special. But girls tend to get too much attention and stalkery shit. So if you treat a girl like your queen on a first date, you’re going to come off as desperate or stalkery and she’s going to pull back because it’s too much.

All I've ever wanted is balance. Someone who I can give to and equally receive. Turns out it's pretty hard to find because at least thus far I've only found people who want to take/take advantage. You live and you learn though from these types of experiences, mostly that you need more firm boundaries and clear healthy communication so compromise and balance can enter/stay. Reading these posts it is apparent many are entertaining false assumptions. Dating and relationships are never easy. Even the Alpha crowds that mingle socially and sexually, they trade away emotion for friendship and physical contact, are just as vulnerable to emotions as the people who wake up each day and start the day with "why don't I have someone".

As an older adult you become jaded. You see stereotypes much easier. Modern life is set up ,as Im a guy, that the man who takes care of himself and has money is always desired. The guy that earns six figures and is reasonably handsome is the guy the women gravitate to. His waters are warm and thats why the women want to be in his place.

That is not reality. It is a modern misnomer. Reality is two people come together and make the waters warm. Together.

To add on to this - 'high value' does not mean you have to be rich, own a lamborghini, a mansion, and be a CEO who travels the world constantly.

High value means you need to have desirable traits. This isn't necessarily money (but it can be). However equally desirable for most girls is things like fitness, humour, motivation, a social life, being fun. Even if you don't have supermodel looks and drive a Bentley, being good at these things will go a long way.

A prime example of this is in the movie Titanic (weird example but bear with me). In the movie Jack is the love interest. Rose loves him despite the fact he is literally homeless and his only possession is the clothes he's wearing and his notebook. Jack's desirable because he's funny, attractive, knows how to have fun, is confident, and is actually just kind. Not 'nice guy' kind, but genuinely a good person. Whereas Roses fiancee is the opposite. He's rich, but he's rude, dull, self obsessed, and tried to win her over purely by spending money. And everyone in real life, even to this day loves Jack in Titanic. For most girls born in the 90s, he's literally the most memorable love interest. And he's a homeless guy with a gambling problem.

Think of it this way, as a guy would you wanna date a boring, obese, unattractive girl with no hobbies at all purely because she had a nice car? Probably not. It's the same for girls.

In my experience of dating a lot in my youth, and working and living with girls for a few years my above points are true. Money is nice but girls are equally attracted to guys who are desirable in other ways. I did pretty well with girls when I was younger and I was broke as shit. I literally lived in a house I shared with 4 others, had a 15 year old car that didn't unlock half the time, and the most expensive place I'd go out to eat was a burger van. However, I was probably relatively 'high value' because I was attractive, was good at sports and used to enter competitions etc, had a good social life, and I like to think I was just fun. The amount of girls I took out on dates to that burger van I could afford, and we still had a great time was ridiculous. Girls don't purely want money, they want a guy who can enrich and offer something to improve their life. If you can genuinely make her happy, and make her feel like she's gained something emotionally from being with you then you're high value.

There's more to it than that. There's an actual psychological process that includes biological chemical cycles in the brain that causes people to chase or stay with people that treat them poorly.

Essentially the oxytocin, serotonin, dopamine, endorphine, and cortisol get a weird balance issue that makes abuse/toxic behavior addictive. This tends to happen through a cycle of "abuse". The constant reliable interest and advances of a pursuer tends to overwhelm and drive the recipient away where the push/pull of the abuse cycle causes an anxiety through fear of loss survival instinct behavior that makes the toxic person seem more valuable/interesting because now the recipient has a need to earn their interest.

OP, I think you miss the point of seduction.

Seduction is about gaining attraction and getting girls to talk and like you and ultimately become a sex partner, and maybe more.

If you treat her like a queen from day 1, you will absolutely be considered low value and at best friend-zoned.

You have to make her earn your affection and attention, and then give it out sparingly and when well deserved.

As your relationship grows, you can give more and more, and sure, if you get married (like I am), then you have your queen.. and even then, you have to have a full enough life from yourself and so does she that she shouldn't NEED your constant affirmation. A lot of women will test you to make sure you’re worth staying with long term. Getting a girl isn’t necessarily the problem for a lot of guys, but keeping them.
