This is the only part I don't believe. Women judge based on first impressions or appearance as much if not more than men do. If there's a difference it's that women make up a little narrative in their head about the person's character based on their appearance, and use that justify their judgment of someone based on appearance.

Which is why, incidentally, so many women say men "change" at some point in the relationship, and "he wasn't like that at the beginning". It's more often the case that reality pierces the veil of the fantasy/narrative they've spun about the person.

How is this news? I don't disagree with your stance, but you seem to be implying that this is some kind of recent phenom or maybe an injustice. As a man who might be a regular Joe on my better days, I have moments where I dislike this reality, but it is the reality.
Applies to women also, though likely to a greater extent.

It's making it look like average/below average dudes that are complaining can't even do the work to fix their personality enough to make up for their lack of physical attractiveness.

See here's the thing. There may be truth to what you say. The less attractive man will need to work harder. But therein lies the truth. He HAS to WORK. Yet when we see these red pill and black pill men refuse to put in the work yet feel entitled to their desires, it creates a situation of zero movement or progress.

They don't realise that the hard work they need to put in is actually what will turn them into real men. Yes, things will come easy for the more attractive guy, but he won't have the dexterity or humility compared to the hard working guy who will eventually overtake the attractive guy. When men see the world through the red pill lens they refuse to accept that there are a million different levels of nuance. Have you ever seen the top dogs in every fortune 500 companies? They're ugly guys who are in high flying positions. Not some Adonis. And the reason for this is because the guy with the hard graft finally made it meanwhile Chad plateaued. That's the kind of nuance red pill men don't see.

I'm one of those harder working guys. At 40, I'm now in an incredibly secure and happy place compared to where I started 25 years ago. And you can bet that while some of the attractive guys I knew had it easy at the start, they fell apart at the first sign of hardship because they didn't have the experience to handle the first issue life threw at them. Whereas I was already well accustomed to hardships.

Want to know an even greater damaging factor? When these men swallow the red or black pill, they choose to kill off hope, wonder and innocence within them. That's a lose lose situation from the start.

To be fair you can link this to anyone - hot people as a whole have certain privileges, there is no denying it - although I will say, men do have it a bit easier in that front cause as a man, there are endless avenues to improve yourself as looks aren’t the primary driver of attraction to women. As a woman, if you’re fat or ugly, you’re kinda fucked - ask yourself, as a guy especially, how different it is being around a fat man and a fat woman, being around a fat man is frankly less embarrassing to be around (shitty to say, but its true and that’s something i gotta work on myself) - so fat men can socially get away with far more.m because men aren’t nearly as looks dependent as women are.

That’s why hot women get more benefits than hot men, men are primarily visual creatures, women are not. So this rule does exist for everyone, but the scale is more flexible for men, i’d argue.

As a young male adult, I fully agree. This logic applies to both gender but in different ways. For men, there is a greater emphasis on one's character and personality. For women, there is a greater emphasis on physical appearance (make-up) and ability in bed.

The guys I've heard who try to contradict his are simply in denial and hate the reality god gave them. E.g. why can Brad Pitt trip 5 times while I can only trip 1 time before being disqualified.

I used to be a very unattractive woman and the whole “EVEN UGLY FAT BITCHES HAVE IT EASY” is so not true. I used to be heavily mentally and psychically bullied, especially by men, for my looks and the way I was behaving. I was always minding my business, doing absolutely nothing to these people.

Mostly true, but men can have a warped view of their own attractiveness that can knock them down a few pegs. I've known quite a few men who always called themselves ugly even if they were average or even a little higher than average. But because they weren't the ripped, chiseled, rugged kind of handsome or just didn't know grooming they had a defeatist mentality that was ironically less attractive then their actual looks.

I was privy to watching a guy get a "makeover" (haircut, shave, some decent clothes etc) and honestly he went from a solid 3 to a 7. Not just cause he was dressed and groomed in a flattering way but the confidence boost from getting compliments changed his whole demeanor. I always try to compliment a man's appearance now. A simple "you look nice" or "I like your outfit" to a guy when the effort has been made has actually resulted in me getting a few dates lol.

This is just marketplace dynamics. If a good has less value it must have other things to make up for the lack of value. You wouldn't buy an $1000 T.V. with the same features as a $500 T.V. But it if comes with an entertainment system making it a $1050 value you might.

They choose an uglier guy because they’re insecure, an attractive man would have too many options and be more likely to cheat. Or they just dont care about looks that much. Personality, money, intelligence, everything else is more important.
