Would you look at that, when writing this post hypergamous has no red line under it, but hypogamous does. Even though hypogamy is an actual word. I guess one more female privilege: They get more dictionary-approved words to describe their behavior! Anyways, let me get to the point of my post. Simply put, men and women are different. I know, a hard concept to comprehend, huh? Of course we have many similarities too (both liking sex, food, water, etc). However, I often see Red Pill skeptics try to argue that hypergamy, one of the main Red Pill beliefs, is just a human thing; that men are ALSO hypergamous, so by pointing out women being hypergamous, it is just hypocritical and/or misogynistic.

I will simply have to argue this. Yes, exceptions exist. We aren't talking about those, so don't bother. We are generalizing entire genders of people. That is the scientific thing to do, so let's do that. Men in general are not hypergamous. They are hypogamous, which is the exact opposite of hypergamy. Men date down, women date up.

Many examples can be made here. Jose Canseco went to hooters one day, found a girl named Jessica, and married her. He was a very famous, high-status baseball player. Jessica was making minimum wage at a restaurant as a server. Can you honestly tell me this would ever happen the other way around? That a high status, famous woman would just walk into a Taco Bell and decide "this cashier is cute, I'm going to ask him out". WOULD THAT HAPPEN?

No. Of course not! What about Adam Sandler and his wife Jackie? He was a super famous actor at the time they met on the set of "Big Daddy". She had a small part as a waitress. They've been together for a long time now. Still going strong (that we know of from the outside). Would she have went for one of the extras on set? You tell me. How about Tim McGraw and Faith Hill? Still going strong. Faith was an opening act for him. She wasn't a big singer at the time that I know of. Yes, Britney Spears did date a backup singer. But between Tim and Britney, who had the better relationship?

I can speak personally. I was working as an Amazon delivery driver a couple years back. A delivery to a big downtown apartment complex went haywire. The female manager there obviously perceived me as lesser status. She was annoyed with how I had left the package outside and slammed on the door in anger. I said "you try doing this job". She said "I have a real job thanks". The true colors come out! Women simply don't respect men of lesser status than them. In other perspective though, younger women barely out of high school or college respected my job just fine. Didn't crap on me for it. It's the older women or women with "better jobs" or "higher status" who gave me crap and wanted nothing to do with me.

So don't you tell me men are hypergamous. I would date a fast food worker if she was healthy and sweet. But a woman working some fancy job wouldn't date a fast food worker. Because men and women are different. And while we shoudn't ignore out similarities, the differences shouldn't be ignored either, which is why the Red Pill is a real wake-up call for so many of us guys who were clueless back in the day.
