I will use the high functioning autistic (aspergers) person's experience as an anecdote. You arent intellectually disabled (in fact alot of spergs have an IQ above the average range), but you are socially disabled (think of it like this: socialising and flirting is like improvising in a play that you are a part of but everyone else has the lines/scripts memorised and ingrained in their heads so you end up looking like a retard). As a result of this, many men and women with aspergers never marry or lose their virginity or have kids (a study in sweden showed that the fertility ratio of autistic men was 0.2 compared to the normal neurotypical population whilst it was a little bit higher at 0.45 for women with autism and another survey study showed that around 44% of adult men with aspergers are virgins - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0XaEnfH9P8 ).

So we have established that your 'personality' is highly compromised due to aspergers. How do you compensate for this? Learning social skills? Practicing and going through endless rejections in order to gain nothing but embarrassment? Making a fool of yourself in social groups as you try to socialise and getting further ostracised? Asking women on certain subreddits about this incites answers such as "oh just be yourself" or "all i want is a nice, kind guy who cares for me". (blue pill) . Far from the truth. If you 'be yourself' all that is going to happen is people will be extremely turned off and creeped out by your autistic traits adn call you 'creepy' or 'weird' when you babble on about your special interest in spider-man on a date. (note this doesnt just apply to men: women with autism can also be called creepy or weird though a lot are seen as more "cute" or "quirky" if they are attractive enough - i will explain in next paragraph).

I have another suggestion: MAKE YOURSELF PHYSICALLY ATTRACTIVE. I do not want to explain the halo effect to you guys as you should already be well accustomed to its meaning. But i will. Now lets imagine someone who was a very attractive person but who had high functioning autism. All of a sudden their "creepy" traits such as babbling on about a special interest gets them seen as "passionate" about a hobby. Their weird non-verbal body language showing their social anxiety and shyness is not seen as creepy anymore but "cute". Their nerdy behaviour and obsession towards performing well academically is not seen as "nerdy" anymore but peopple will say "oh he/she is so smart!". This is the reality.

Dont get me wrong, attractive people absolutely do struggle as much as conventioanlly unattractive ones. But when you dont have to try to get people interested in you even when you are a high functioning autistic, the statement that "looks dont matter" is completely invalidated. Because if you are autistic, your looks are EVERYTHING and any attempts to 'self-improve' (red pill) your social skills, style, money, flirting skills, ability to maintain relationships, being interesting, funny, etc. and anything that could potentially increase the attractiveness and likeability of your personality will not bear any fruit because you are still autistic and masking will only lead to more torment. My advice for autistic people is to make yourself as attractive as possible first and then focus on these things as then, other people will not judge you as harshly.

What do you guys think? Like isnt it so stupid and misleading when people tell autistic folks advice like "be nice' and "be yourself", when it is, by common sense, very poor and unrealistic advice due to the stigma against the general unmasked autistic traits in society such as shyness, poor social skills, etc?
