Speaking as 35M Midwest US, I would say most of my major checkpoints are about 4-6 years behind the 'usual' curve for those in my comparable cohort. Ultimately, by 30ish I've more or less arrived at 'typical adult' markers (all's well that ends well...I guess?), but those early-to-mid 20s years were certainly full of question marks. I don't think I ever truly worried about 'falling through the cracks' but I definitely felt stunted along the way.
