Men with little to no sexual/romantic experience are frequently shunned by women due to a combination of social and biological factors, whether it be a general ick they get or that they dont want to do the teaching in a relationship. Whatever the exact reason, most women find virgins/low experience men to be unattractive.

One solution is to simply lie about the lack of experience, but something else such men can and should do is to get a woman below their typical standards that they can practice on. It's pretty easy for average men to get into a relationship with a desperate below average woman who wants to date up, and doing so comes with many benefits. An inexperienced man can quickly gain a lot of sexual and romantic skills which will eventually give him the confidence and experience to be able to more successful go after women who are more attractive.

It's a shame that this route has been forced upon men, but it's a good one with a lot of benefits and little drawbacks for those who go down it.
