For a while I was promoting idea for men to accept that majority of women have decentered men. The only reasonable thing men can do (single men who are not in happy marriage) is to improve their single lives, not focusing on dating.

Sometimes men speculate that women should be very angry about men who decenter them. But my experience says otherwise. All the replies from women are approving or skeptical-approving along the lines of "that's a good solution, but men won't do it."

On the other hand, there are men who react negatively, call this neutering, emasculation, bad solution to dating/marriage/demography or literally saying that men can't control their sexual impulses. The latter sounds extremely misandrist portraying men as horny animals.

It is of course possible, that women are bluffing, because they think men are bluffing and they just don't believe men will really go happily single en-masse. Or they think that only bad worthless men would do it.

What do you think? Is it really a solution for men? If yes, would some decent men go away - creating some competition for those few women who are still interested?

I understand skepticism, but there are real life examples, indications and symptoms of men adapting: herbivore men culture, less young men approaching women (i.e. not just single, but less motivated to change that), polls showing young men preferring AI gf to seeking a real one. Although, I don't claim that these men are most decent and desired, they are also not the worst - relatively calm and safe, not toxic masculine (probably not masculine at all).
