My wife went to see a mortgage advisor and told her she can't get the mortgage she wants, she doesn't earn enough and ironically because the cars finance is in her name. The advisor told her she can't really afford that car. The money comes out of the joint account, which I put more money in for.

So she has come up to me asking if I could take less money out so she can have a decent house to live in. There are houses available in her price range but they are not what "she deserves".

Funnily enough, she has shut up about the solicitor's will deem her situation as one that she needs more money, so she has admitted court will just dismiss her case.

I'm in two minds, my first reaction is to tell her to fuck off and let her lie in the bed she made and see if Chad and Tyrone that she talks to on a weekly basis will give her the money. She looks like she is close to a nervous breakdown.

But then she is the mother of my kids and the kids deserve their mum to be happy. But making her happy means me just skimping after her again. 🤷
