I'm really struggling with this.

I'm not into casual sex. At all. I've tried and it's not for me. I feel like shit the day after, and just feel used.

I've come to terms with this and set a rule. No sex until I'm comfortable, like him and feel there could be something serious. So in other words, I do not have sex for a while. It could be weeks, it could be months.

However, I'm 23, in college and literally everyone here wants only sex or sex as quickly as possible. Especially guys. There's this expectation that you should sleep with your date as soon as possible.

I've been dating a guy sporadically. A little bit older than what I usually go for. We click etc and recently he invited me to his place but I declined. I just know that if you go home to a guys place there is an expectation of having sex and I can't deal with that.

Is it actually possible to find someone if I'm not into casual sex? And how do I go about it?

Tldr: not into casual sex, struggle with modern dating.

This is stated about as sympathetically as possible, I would imagine. She tried it. It's eating her up. Everyone wants it from her. She's not playing anymore.

If you knew of this transition, would you wait "weeks or months" to sleep with her?

Would it matter if she expected exclusivity before consummation?
