I mean, I would actually put them all in some kind of camp where they can all drive around in quad bikes, or bicycles, or white vans. I would give them a choice of vehicles to drive around with, give them no porn, they wouldn’t be able to fight – we would have wardens, of course! Women who want to see their sons or male loved ones would be able to go and visit, or take them out like a library book, and then bring them back.

This is what passes as "enlightenment" in some circles?

[–]indecisiveredditor 34 points35 points36 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

[–]Eudnbdnxjdj 37 points38 points39 points 10 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

When does this cross the line into hate speech or inciting some sort of violence?

[–]HotZone_ 18 points19 points20 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Doesn't the UK have hate speech laws? I don't agree with such laws but if racists are going to be targeted then I see no reason why feminists shouldn't be targeted as well.

[–]Eudnbdnxjdj 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Idk probably. I agree with you though.

[–]tallwheel 7 points8 points9 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

As soon as it is directed toward women or racial minorities, or some other "protected" group. As long as the target is men, everyone will just have a good laugh.

[–]matthew_lane 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Never.

She's allowed to say any stupid shit she wants to say & the rest of us are free to point out why she's talking shit because she is an embittered old lesbian who is pissed off that she had to live life in reality rather than in her lesbian dream land in which all women are lesbians & men don't exist with their desire to fuck the women (who are now all lesbians).

I would never censor her speech because I want as many people as possible to hear the stupid shit she says from her own lips.

[–]osirusr 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's hate speech.

[–]TracyMorganFreeman 9 points10 points11 points 10 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Those men won't be able to concentrate with all those distractions /s

Of course she sees men as nothing more than overgrown children who need babysitting. Of course she's a lesbian feminist, which seems to often mean seeing men as of no use to her so they're of no use to society, or aren't fully people.

[–]Sasha_ 12 points13 points14 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Well, Julie won't be seeing her son any time soon, or treating him like a 'library book', because he recently killed himself, and I believe she was too 'busy' to attend the funeral.

[–]Allevil669 10 points11 points12 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Hmm... I wasn't objecting until the "no porn". I'd also like an internet connection (segregated away from wymynins internet of course), and a nice kitchen so that I can cook my oppressive carnivore meals without polluting the superior sensibilities of vegan feminists (sorry, vegan guys).

[–]dangerousopinions 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]redditorriot 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

It'd last about three days before outside society would collapse under a torrent of garbage, blackouts, sewage, unchecked water tables in large cities, lack of food, burst water pipes, leaking roofs, raging spreading fires, enemies at the border, and so on, and so on, and... so... on.

You're welcome to go and live on a completely deserted island and fend for yourselves, radfem women.

[–]MRA-automatron-2kb 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

YES! For a change, let the females pick up the garbage, unclog the toilets, go up on roofs, fight fires, fix the roads, climb and fix the hydro and phone wires.

[–]rbrockway 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

As I've noted before Australia and Canada both allow leasing crown land from the government with next to no oversight and tiny leasing costs in remote areas.

Separatist feminists talk about separation a lot but don't do a lot about it.

I encourage separatist feminists to lease crown land in a remote part of Australia or Canada (see, they can choose hot or cold!) and show us how civilisation is done. Go on. Now please.

[–]matthew_lane 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It'd last about three days before outside society would collapse

It wouldn't even last that long. Food services would screech to a halt, power would be turned off completely from the get go with no men to regulate it's flow, as would the water.

One day, one day is all it would take & you'd lose power, water & food in a matter of hours.... An with that society is immediately screwed.

That statement about checking men out like library books along with this statement:

I would love to see a women’s liberation that results in women turning away from men and saying: “when you come back as human beings, then we might look again.”

Should be enough to convince anyone that they're not real lesbians. They just hate men and want to use us like dildoes. They'd probably give their man slaves a combination of viagra and some other drug that makes men unable to feel the pleasure of sex so they could use us this way, and if a man was uncooperative I'm sure they'd just castrate him and have his penis stuffed. But Lesbians they are not. They're just evil lunatics.

If they were real lesbians, I can pretty much guarantee they wouldn't hate men this way. They'd be fine with a man free life and wouldn't care enough about men to want to put us in camps. It's no coincidence either that most of these women are fat and/or ugly. They know they're not in demand by men and they're lashing out. They don't just want to kill us. They want enslave us, dehumanize us and use us as sex toys. They're disgusting.

Well what they say about rape etc is that, "yep it's a tiny percentage of men, but if a tiny percentage of skittles were poisonous you wouldn't eat them, so don't trust men."

Well by their 'logic' then you can't trust a single feminist, because some of them are hateful lunatic liars, so you can treat them all as potential lunatics because some are.

Obviously this is bollocks, but it's fun to turn their own mindless drivel against them.

[–]Revoran 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

Apparently living human beings can be compared to skittles. Poison skittles.

And that's not insulting or bigoted. Nope. Not at all.

Imagine saying "sure not all black people are thieves, but enough of them are that it's not worth trusting blacks". Or in this current example "sure not all black people are thugs, but enough are part of the violent culture and they allow the rest to be violent." That's horribly racist and totally unacceptable.

But apparently saying the same thing about men is OK?

[–]the-tominator 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Things which, when used to describe most groups, are thought of as hateful, generalising and bigoted, are fine against men or white people. That's because the cultural marxists don't believe you can be racist to white people or men, because the whole 'power+privilege' thing. Because of course, they don't believe that women and non-whites have any power - remind Obama and Hillary of that! Tell the Queen she's not privileged. It's mental, because the average woman walking down the street actually has MORE (societal) power than the average man. It's only at the very top that men outnumber women, and in a lot of those cases women have put the men in those positions by voting for them. But they genuinely believe that women and minorities are powerless, and not privileged at all! So they can't be anything-ist. Even Hillary isn't a sexist, she might hold sexist views and be extremely powerful, but she is a woman so can't be sexist.

In reality this hilariously logic is just an attempt at the SJWs/Cultural Marxists/Feminists defending their own racism and sexism, because they are far more racist and sexist than the white men they hate, but have to come up with some twisted way of justifying it.

[–]wanderer779 11 points12 points13 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Also, I just looked at her wikipedia. It's not like this is some fringe nutcase with a blog read by 500 people... she writes for the guardian which is a major paper and I'm guessing would be categorized as mainstream media.

Good thing I ignore mainstream media.

[–]StarsDie 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm thinking of contacting The Guardian and giving them this info. Hopefully others follow suit.

[–]osirusr 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Please do, for all of us. Let me know if you don't, as in that case I will.

[–]elebrin 20 points21 points22 points 10 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

That's how they get away with being able to say anything they want. They have one or two crazy ones they all agree with secretly, then deny that they agree with them publicly and say "not all of us are like that."

[–]Keiichi81 28 points29 points30 points 10 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

Except that if these people weren't agreed with by a large number of "real" feminists, they wouldn't be given the recognition and platform to spread their hateful message. They'd just be some idiot trolling a chan like the RP'ers posting dank "stay woke" memes and manhood101 spam. Mainstream feminism gives these bigots and fascists the means and power to have their bile published in recognized journals and mainstream magazines, and the support to know that they can say disgusting things like "all men should be put into camps" without fear of social penalty.

When I see people dismissing these sorts of crazies as "not real feminists" or "just crazy outliers", I picture Americans in the early 1930s talking about how that Hitler guy in Germany isn't something we need to worry about.

Or the 1940s

[–]Revoran -5 points-4 points-3 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You are using the same exact same logic as the nutty radfem woman in the OP.

"Sure not all of them are that way, but they don't do anything about the bad group therefore they are just as bad".

How are you not seeing the irony in your own post?

[–]FluffyBallofHate 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There is no irony. They are not comparable positions. 'Men' are a gender. 'Feminists' are an ideology, which indicates that they actually do all have to agree with each other up to a certain extent.

[–]elebrin 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm saying what I'm saying because that's how I think and operate as well. I never said it was a bad thing, just a thing that's important to understand.

[–]lethatis 42 points43 points44 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]Falkner09 28 points29 points30 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

We used to talk about sexual politics, rather than sexual practice. But what the libertarians did when they borrowed US gay male culture was they focused obsessively on sexual practice, and they eroticised inequality, subordination, pain and dominance.

As a gay man, it always strikes me how tone deaf these people are, that they never realize the small fetish groups do not actually represent the rest of us. And somehow, the radfems think their sexual orientation is in itself a strike against the political elite. This is what happens when you build an echo chamber, folks.

[–]blueoak9 13 points14 points15 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

But what the libertarians did when they borrowed US gay male culture

What is she even talking about? when did that ever happen? This looks like a pathetic attempt at a fabrication.

It looks like nothing more than an attempt to smear both sides with each other. She just juxtaposes two groups she hates, libertarians and gay men, and considers that some kind of a slam.

[–]Falkner09 8 points9 points10 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It is a fabrication. Like I said, this is the result of echo chamber groups.

[–]saratogacv60 7 points8 points9 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't think she has the foggiest notion what a libertarians is. I think it is a typo, possibly meant libertine. Not that it makes much more sense, just a little more sense. Although ayn rand was a libertine.

I've always wondered how radfems are going to implement these "put all men in a camp" or "exterminate 90% of men" strategies.

Even if they somehow rallied all women to their crazy cause, which would never happen because most women arent batshit insane misandrists, what is their strategy for herding men to their doom? I think an attack on nearly half of the population that makes up 95+% of the military and has greatly increased physical strength isn't going to go so well. I guess they could count on white knights to help them, but cmon...knights aren't really known for their physical prowess...

[–]Juan_Golt 20 points21 points22 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

They must think the 'war on women' is like actual war.

[–]FluffyBallofHate 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

War on Women is a big part of the reason why I won't vote Democratic.

It's hard to make it more obvious that you don't give a shit about men, than to invent a BS narrative about a 'war' being waged on women because of a few stupid things said by a republican or two, and a bunch of shit that might be nice for women to have, but that don't constitute any kind of natural rights, while never once mentioning men in their campaign ads.

[–]colourful_opinion 42 points43 points44 points 10 years ago* (6 children) | Copy Link

I've always wondered how radfems are going to implement these "put all men in a camp" or "exterminate 90% of men" strategies.

One of the biggest fights I've had with my wife was on this topic. I told her that if the rule of law broke down there would be roving gangs of men that would just ride over the horizon, find some village, and nab all the women to bring back as slaves.

She got viscerally angry, as if this was a ludicrous statement, babbled a bit about the law (I said the rule of law was gone ...) and said that women could shoot, too. I reminded her that most of the guns are in the hands of men, most of the military hardware, most of the ammunition, most of the expertise for virtually all the infrastructure, and that once the ammo ran out, their physical strength was going to be the determiner in a lot of conflicts.

She asked where I got my beliefs and I told her, "History."

She didn't talk to me for most of a day, she was so upset.

[–]Allevil669 30 points31 points32 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

She didn't talk to me for most of a day, she was so upset.

Well, of course she was upset. You used logic to rape her brutally.

[–]Notthevictim 6 points7 points8 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Wow. Great word choice.

[–]colourful_opinion 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ultimately, she apologized to me, a couple of days later. She said that it really bothered her, but that she could see that I didn't want that scenario to come to pass and that with millennia of human history to go on, "might makes right" was the most prevalent pattern, and thus the most likely to re-emerge with the death of the rule of law.

[–]houseaddict 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Most if not all villages would have men defending 'their' women though, so I suppose after the result of that battle you could be correct. Other than that... yeah.

[–]colourful_opinion 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Absolutely. I told her that not ALL men would do the raping and pillaging thing, but that a percentage would, and that percentage would be a lot higher than she likely would expect. There's a lot of people that would change their behaviour if the rule of law vanished.

[–]MRA-automatron-2kb 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The brainwashed White Knight feminist doormats will be the ones come after us.

Good for you for shutting down your wife with logic. Women usually just yell or cry when I do that.

[–]Lucius_Martius 7 points8 points9 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Don't you know that sexual dimorphism is a social construct? Once we have weakened men by teaching them to express their emotions and have produced enough emotionally dead radfem weight lifters victory will surely be ours!

I've always wondered how radfems are going to implement these "put all men in a camp" or "exterminate 90% of men" strategies.

They are not going to "exterminate" 90% of men, but you bet when the time is right, like when most jobs done by men are automated, they will bring up how men are a burden on society because many are unemployed. There will be a general devaluing of men since our value only seems to come from what we do. There isn't going to be any extermination, they aren't stupid enough to do that. But there will be a gradual devaluation in the sense that women (who have all the reproductive choice) won't see much value in having male children. Throw in some fearmongering about men with nothing to occupy them, like a job, being prone to causing social unrest and how only men have started and benefited from all wars blah blah etc., and most women would be all too willing to be on board with a 10% only policy. Look at how paranoid they are right now about their safety when they are the demographic least likely to be the target of crime. Even teenagers and children are more likely to be targeted. You think they won't see value in policies like those with the right amount of fearmongering?

Of course, it's also 90% because feminists and women in general view men of a higher social status favourably. The 10-20% of upper class men will be needed as enforcers of feminist policy. Women exercise power differently. Not directly, but through male proxies. So you need a class of men to exercise power on their behalf.

Don't underestimate these people. Morals change over time. And they have managed to threaten with some success, the fundamental concepts of free societies like free speech, presumption of innocence, etc. When they have a sufficient level of power with which to reduce the male population, they will seriously advocate for it.

[–]FluffyBallofHate 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Morals change over time, but survival is survival. Men will rise up if it begins to look anything like that, and we will sweep this bullshit away.

Well, on top of that, when the plumbing breaks in this camp, and no woman is capable of fixing it, who are they going to call to repair the leak?

[+]McGauth925 -6 points-5 points-4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's not rocket science. They'd figure it out. Or force some male prisoner to fix it for them, and learn by watching.

Any more idle questions?

I'm glad she's a lesbian. The last thing we need is her teaching a biological child her infuriatingly stupid bullshit. Like, how the fuck is heterosexuality a male domination? It's a fucking biological imperative for the continuation of our species. And clearly she's never heard of "riding a cock" (where the male is the bottom, and the female controls the sex act by mounting him).

[–]murderfack 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

We should probably start organizing an effort to eradicate male Hetero domination in the animal kingdom too

e: typo

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I foresee a sad conclusion to the exponential growth of oppression against men. And it won't be the eradication of masculinity. Men are going to stop caring about women, communities will segregate, and crimes committed by men against women in male-only areas will go passively uninvestigated, while crimes against men in the women-only zones will be celebrated and even encouraged.

And then our species will either end up in an actual gender war, or society will just fall apart.

There is no need to make excuses for that statement.

I can only assume that you either think that the author was referring to Happy Funland Camp, where you get to go rafting and hiking every day and gather around campfires to roast marshmallows at night...

Women should put their act together, get straight with their feelings, get their power taken from them and behave themselves and learn the freaking difference between facts and feelings. I mean, I would actually put them all in some kind of camp where they can all talk about their feelings and gossip all day. I would gave them a choice of shop to buy clothes from, give them no TV dramas nor sex toys, they weren't allowed to yell, scream and fight each other - we would have wardens, of course! Men who want to see their daughters or female beloved ones would be able to go and visit, or take them out like a wedding suit, and then bring them back.

How do you think the popular media would react? Because that theoretical reaction speaks better about gender equality than any feminist can.

Queue up the circle jerk. She's a radical feminist. Self described. She is not mainstream. She is not the poster child of feminism.

The article is run by a blog called "radfem collective". It's not run on the New York Times. This is not an opinion that many people agree on or share. It's a stupid opinion that doesn't deserve attention. Political lesbianism is also a stupid term.

But for god's sakes - stop circle jerking over this crap. This is what /r/ againstmensrights does. They pick the worst stuff they can find on the internet, and the high five each other about how right they are to hate MRAs. This is the exact same thing, only substituting "MRA" with "Feminism".

[–]Imthere 12 points13 points14 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

She's a radical feminist.

So?

This is the exact same thing, only substituting "MRA" with "Feminism".

No.

Where are the "radical MRAs" who advocate for "all women must be in the kitchen making sammiches" ? They don't fucking exist.

Where are the "radical MRAs" who advocate for "all women should be put into breeding camps"? They don't fucking exist.

Where are the "radical MRAs" who are "political gays", who refuse to have anything to do with women? They don't fucking exist.

There is simply no comparison between the feminist camp (radical or not), and the MRAs. There are tons of "radical feminists". But (wink wink) they're not "mainstream". There are no fucking "radical MRAs".

A huge chunk of the ant-MRA shit posted on /r/ againstmensrights has nothing to do with MRAs. They call Elliot Rogers an MRA. When he didn't even fucking know what an MRA was.

Those shitheads think "MRAs hate women. Therefore anyone who shows he hates women must be an MRA". It's a logical fallacy that 12 year olds don't fall into. It's taught in elementary school for fucks sake.

Complaining about this lunatic lesbian is not circle jerking. She's been given 10x the audience that MRAs have. She's been called on her insane shit less than MRAs get called on facts published by the CDC.

i.e. we talk facts put out by government agencies, and we get called misogynists. She talks about putting all men in camps, and gets taken seriously by MAIN STREAM MEDIA. From her Wikipedia article: "A freelance journalist whose work regularly appears in The Guardian"

Would the Guardian regularly publish articles from known holocaust deniers and anti-semites?

No.

Then why in the living hell would they regularly publish articles from someone who has the same kind of hatred? She's just substituted "men" for "jew", and "women" for "white people".

It's the same fucking hate. It deserves the same kind of ridicule. It deserves the same kind of disgust. She belongs on the fringes of society with the holocaust deniers and flat earthers.

She's a lunatic, getting main stream attention. And people like you don't want us to talk about her.

What the fuck kind of drugs are you on?

Short bio of her from the Guardian, for which she has written a large number of articles: "Julie Bindel, a freelance journalist and political activist, is a founder of Justice for Women. She is the co-editor of Gaze: A Modern Review..."

Seems pretty mainstream to me, to the extent that she has a regular column in a national newspaper in the UK.

[+]tiqr -14 points-13 points-12 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

But does she espouse opinions that are this extreme in the Guardian? The Guardian wouldn't run this kind of drivel.

[–]CarbonBlob78 6 points7 points8 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

But they are her opinions. It doesn't matter where they are posted, the fact is she is a feminist who has a regular column in a national newspaper and is quite well known.

The fact she espouses such opinions and yet continues to write columns in mainstream publications speaks volumes...
