The whole idea of MeN aRe ViSuAl is so exhausting in general, when a lot of the men who are reaching out to me on OLD just look terrible. I don’t mean things that can’t be helped or take time fixing- I’m talking about beards you could hide small animals in, stained teeth from too much smoking, no thought to what they wear, no shape to the haircut, no interest in active dates or even doing anything active on their own time, and I can’t even imagine what their feet look like.

There are men that do their best with what they have, take pride in their appearance, and you can tell. When he matches his shoes to his outfit, when he smells good, when his facial hair is on point. No excuse for poor grooming.

A friend just turned 30 lately and still "rates women out of 10," texted my twin brother pictures of women he'd matched with online in an attempt to brag (my bro told him off for stealing pics from their OLD profiles! This is why I don't do OLD myself!), says he won't date a girl who isn't rich, a "10/10," she has to chase him, he's the prize, etc. A lot of big talk.

He was good looking when younger, but also has a drink/drugs problem, can't keep a job, and now has a receding hairline and dark circles under his eyes. But he's still bragging about all the matches he gets online, then complaining when they ghost him/kick him out. He's the definition of LVM but still no woman is good enough apparently lmao.

I have to talk to him cuz hes a son of a family friend lol. Have tried talking sense to him but its no good. He's expressed interest before but I shut that down.
