I am relieved that so many also chill at home. We are in semi lockdown again and I feel like I might have covid symptoms, all test centers are closed, so I decided to stay home and feel like some kind of lonely loser for it, because all my friends are celebrating. Now I will try to make the best of it, watch Netflix, eat Pizza and think about some goals.

Today is my 30th birthday. I'm spending it with my parents, sister and her husband, and my nephew. My dad is making a seafood feast and afterwards I'm gonna play with some confetti poppers w my nephew. Tomorrow marks day 1 I will be going nicotine free, my final bad habit to kick. In 2021 I gave up alcohol, cigarettes (I'm vaping currently), weed, and started working out regularly. Looking forward to more self improvement in 2022😊

Just chillin’ at home. Went for a long walk as I’ve fallen off the exercise wagon with Christmas and Covid… had dinner, so now just going to relax, do some self care, put a tan on, and clean up my apartment a bit.

Could’ve made plans but I realised they’d be with people who don’t bring much positivity to my life, so I decided to start the new year on my own to symbolise courage, strength, and new beginnings with new people I’ve yet to meet.

My mom is here and we are painting my bathroom. This evening I am sitting down on the couch with my critters and filling out my dragon apothecary planner for next year and figuring out my goals with some nice appetizers and wine and snacks. I probably wont make it till midnight lol.

I'll be doing a manicure/nail art and pedicure by myself, then spending the evening with my cat just listening to music. Will take a hot bath with candles later. On new years day itself, I'll be reflecting on the year gone and journalling my thoughts and plans for 2022!

It's just gone new years here in NZ. I spent my evening at my burlesque teachers farm with a bunch of others from that crowd. We had a potluck bbq and ended with a bonfire where we all tossed in our manifestations/intentions for the coming year. I left a little after 11pm as I had an hours drive home to my furbabies.

Covid is really bad where I am so it’s best to limit any mixing sadly.

It’s warm today and will drop well below freezing after this so the kids and I are doing outside chores today, cleaning and installing new bedding and a water deicer in the chicken coop and mulching. I’ll play in my woodshop if time allows and hit the grocery store. Tomorrow we may have a winter storm so we’ll stay inside. I’ll work in my indoor garden area (pots under a fancy grow light), the kids will play new video games and my daughter will do her art.

I’m going to spend the holiday at my parent’s house with my sisters. My one sister moved across the country so I haven’t seen her in years. Her original plan was to visit us yesterday then spend NYE with her friend, but her friend fell ill (she’s fine) and I’ll get to spend more time with her! I’m bringing my cat over so she can meet her :-)

I'm having a few people over for drinks and a dinner of black eyed peas and collard greens (gotta use that Christmas hambone!). I also made some thumbprint cookies and buckeyes with my leftover Christmas cookie stuff

It's my friend's son's birthday too, so presents for him, and we all get to have cake.

The plan is to be cozy in bed by the time the traditional NYE gunshots go off. Then I can spend the weekend packing away the Christmas decorations and spend the week getting my house reorganized before my classes start
