I remember seeing a post maybe a few months ago... might have been here for all I know... about a woman whose boyfriend/fiance/whatever would do the weaponized incompetence, so she played along. He did a shoddy job washing the dishes, so she'd serve him his food using the improperly washed dishes. Things like that. It was wonderful in a way, except for the part where she was still with him for as long as she was.

This is what I'd expect from a literal child who lacks the strength, reach, and dexterity to properly make a bed, who's still mastering their ability to focus. My husband and young son make the beds - perfect military style in under 2 minutes, sometimes with me still in it lol everyday. My son loves racing his dad, and prides himself on perfect folds and lines. If my 6 year old can make a perfect bed, there is no excuse for this.

My roommate tried to pull one on me when he told me once after he’d proudly opened all the radiators for the winter (a 10 minute affair) the he was proposing how about “he does all the mechanical stuff like the radiators and fix the sink and stuff and I do the cleaning” and I gave him such a death stare and said “don’t even try” and he laughed and said he was just joking. But he didn’t make it a joke when he said it and I’m 100% he would’ve gone along with it had I agreed.
