Men that have the ability to sleep around and do so typically have kids and cause broken homes. Their kids suffer from their ways. This also causes a lot of baby mama drama.

Also, a lot of them still desire a partner.

This is just my opinion but I think after hooking up so much, it gets old and they still deal with loneliness and depression since their relationships with women have no solid foundation. Having & maintaining shallow relationships is tiring & doesn’t bring fulfillment later on in life.

I just think later in life hook up culture causes a lot of mental distress for everyone.

I don't want to call myself a "high status" man but I never really had trouble getting women if that counts. However, its definitely hard to find a woman that wants to take me seriously. A lot of women I've met "aren't ready for something serious," have commitment issues, still messing around with their ex, etc. I appreciate how open and honest a lot of women have been with me but it's kind of tiring.

Maybe it's just the women I'm attracting, the places I'm frequenting, how I'm putting myself out there, etc. I don't know. I've obviously been on dates with a few women that were definitely interested in something more but it didn't work for one reason or another. Which is fine. It's usually mutual, sometimes it's me, sometimes it's them. It's all water under the bridge.

I've just noticed that a lot more women that hit me up or respond to me aren't looking for anything serious. I don't know if that qualifies as a struggle because of hookup culture. I wouldn't want someone to settle for something serious if that's not what they're ready for anyways. I'm ready so that's what I'm looking for, you know? Idk.

I've only been looking seriously for a little over a year and most women I've been with are in their late 20s, early 30s. I'm in my late 20s.

When you’re a high level guy and you are basking in the middle of hook up era it’s fine. The problem becomes when you want to settle down, you’ve seen “too much” and it’s hard to get over it and move forward.

High status men are not into the general hookup culture. They go into hookups but not in the same way another avarage men does. For example, someone who has achieved a high status is not around dating apps, hitting random girls in public or clubbing.

Let's say a man is the director/manager/CEO of a successful company. He is always in meetings, dinners and events. His reach is within his environment. He will bang the lady from the front office dealing with the funds, his assistant, sometimes business partners from social events such the anniversary of the company, or simply pay for high class escorts.

Depends on how you define "consequences". I personally think that having a good family, enough kids at an early-ish age, respect in your community, success in your career -- these are the ways to "win", and if you fail at achieving these, those are negative "consequences". Hookup culture gives handsome and high-status men a lot of incentives to delay and/or permanently forgo marriage, kids, career, community involvement, etc.

It's not like those guys are going to come out to social media to publicly complain about their problems and expose themselves when they have a reputation.

They keep things discreet and mainly hire escorts (instagram models and cam girls they can throw enough money at) to avoid the problem women.(also it's hard to tell who really likes you and who's out for your money at a certain level on income.... I don't consider myself super attractive, but I do notice that through my 20s til now that after we hook up, the women I hook up with tend to move on to another guy to date or just disappear for months. If it's not the typical guy issues of being invested in a woman who has other guys she's with, then it's that typically.

In my case it was a guy who was president of one of the frats at my undergrad college. He told me he didn't really want to be and basically got it by default because they were all lazy as fuck and no one else wanted the responsibility. Parents were loaded and he had a very privileged life.

We met through another campus org plus a shared mentor. Outside of that we couldn't have been more different in terms of interests and lifestyles. I don't drink or do drugs at all and I'm pretty sure he's gonna die young if he hasn't cut back already or doesn't soon. It basically became a half joking/half serious thing between us and he'd update me on his "progress" giving up vices. Like I was a nagging wife or something.

He was fun and well-liked but not good at being sincere about pretty much anything. There was a whole lot of miscommunication between us that culminated in me rejecting him when he was (probably) finally being serious.

He was also regularly hooking up with at least one other girl around that time who seemed to have a major crush on him. I talked to him directly about it and he tried to assure me she knew it was just sex and she'd just find another guy if he became serious with someone else. He said that I wasn't the type of girl who did that stuff so I wouldn't get it. Ironically I feel like him being the kind of guy who "did that stuff" caused him to not understand me either.

The closest thing I would call a Chad was a Frat mate who was a good wingman, but cocky as hell guy.

It was not until I found a woman who was 100% on board with an open relationship that I could fall in love and start a family, because I knew without a doubt that I would be incapable of monogamy.

Also remember, that in most cases men hit the Wall too, eventually. Nature had been kind to me, Im still relatively good looking at 38, but nowhere near my college years level. I can still maintain the sexual lifestyle I want, but only with much effort. By the time I hit 45-ish , it will become impossible, and I fear that the moment will suck ass.
