Censorship on reddit seems like the dumbest shit ever. The fact that there were so many wacky and offensive subs is what made reddit fun and popular. There was a community for pretty much everything. Who cares if it's offensive or not if you don't like them, don't follow them. I have no idea why reddit is doing this. Nobody will stop using reddit because 10 out of a million subs are racist or transphobic or whatever. On the other hand they are creating the opportunity for another less controlling platform to take away their database. They are end up like Tumblr with the way they are handling things.

.... Obviously I'm saying all this because one of the porn subs I like got banned.

I got it figured out.

I went camping with Dad in the high Wyoming mountains on Friday night, during a heat wave in the low country. It got cold, but didn't quite freeze....no worries, I'm good to down to at least 20, and that's before using chemical heat.

Politically, let's just say, I'm about as conservative as a Democrat can be without being religious, and he's about as conservative as a Republican can be with being religious.

So of course we shot a podcast, and it went extremely well.

I told Dad that from my point of view, the genius of Trump was to connect so much with his supporters that they feel attacks on him are attacks on them. Dad verified, yes, attacks on Trump feel, to Dad, like attacks on him.

Dad then said something about Trump standing on principle. I laughed and said "Dad, you're projecting. You are a good and principled man, far more than Trump is. From my point of view, Trump is totally self serving, and you are anything but. If you were President when this damned plague hit, and realized that the governors are actually the ones with quarantine power, you would have used the bully pulpit to cajole states into opening in coordinated and careful ways, and you would have been steadfast, rather than changing with every shift in wind direction to what politically benefits you the most. An attack on Trump can't be an attack on you!"

It "worked" but I need to watch/edit to see exactly how far I brought him along.

I think this is the key to talking to Trump supporters. If you can make them see that they feel personally attacked, and then reject the notion you are attacking them, you can then speak more of your mind about Trump.

Fuck Hillary Clinton & her "basket of deplorables" remark that cemented this connection.i

edit: this is a good place to start. "You know, fuck Hillary Clinton for her basket of deplorables comment. She really let 50% of the country know what she thought of them, blah blah blah" it's a good icebreaker with Trump supporters.

"Biological differences" between men and women is a horseshit notion. It only exists and is ever invoked for one and only one reason: to excuse women from any and all standards of anything while putting the burden of the world on men's shoulders.

"Men and women are different" only when it comes to who has to take all the big risks with courtship (men).

Most know that the true tripping point is an overwhelmed system. Anything under that, we can continue to "reopen the economy" (as if was ever shut, a couple years of decline is noting to history).

Wonder if anyone else out there still is rocking an mp3 library for their music? Or does literally everyone stream from Spotify these days.

I enjoy having a library so much more. Constant adding to it, and constantly shuffle nostalgic songs from when I was a teenager. I currently have a little over 11,000 songs and I enjoy all of them to some degree.

But the hard part now is finding nice slick mp3 players, because barely anyone makes them anymore. RIP iPod nanos I loved those things for working out, running, and driving.

But we didn't have sex nor tried to look for it although most girls had some crushes. I have decided my Chad kayak is an eddyline sky 10 but it is too expensive and you cannot find one or maybe a Dagger Axis.
