Cuz I’m a dirty free love hippy who runs in queer sex-positive circles of mixed gender who all like each other. We don’t treat sex like it’s an ultimate goal, which has the surprising effect of people being a lot more causal and less uptight about sex in general.

Red Pill has SOME useful nugget in it… but they aren’t unique nor invented by Red Pill. Blue Pill just calls them something less… cringey.

Things like “I Am The Prize” is just called “having good self esteem”, “Amuse and Amplify” is just the old comedy trope called “Yes, and.” “Nexting” is just called “getting over it”. “Spinning Plates” is just called “playing the field.”

The one thing both agree on is DGAF. Because there is no situation where bugging over small details makes things better.

BUT WE ALL KNOW THE REAL REASON

… which is that the people who cal themselves RP tend to be obnoxious blow-hards who don’t follow their own teachings, and then whine about how women have too much control (…. Because they exercise their right to say No.)

The Blue Pill is just a jokey term for not being into TRP. Like, if we have to choose the red pill or the blue pill, and the red pill is “women don’t really love men below an 8 even if they marry them” well, I’ll take the other one. Because I think the red pill is incorrect.

i mean redpillers coined and framed this dichotomy lol i wouldn’t identify with this term if it wasn’t essentially assigned to everyone who doesn’t agree with redpill shit. it’s kinda like how black people coined “woke” except there was never a popular term for “not-woke” and even if there was, the other side wouldn’t play ball with it like “blue pillers” are willing to do for this analogy.

i identify as a liberal feminist, they consider that blue pill, so that’s what i am by default in these spaces. ironically i have always felt like we live in a patriarchal matrix where sexism and valuing masculinity over femininity are so deeply ingrained in society that most people are completely blind to it even as they reinforce it daily, but what good does it do for me to just say that to people who aren’t open to it

Redpill claims to know how the world really works, but tends to fall into juvenile stereotypes and conspiracy theory. (...and tends to overtly misrepresent much of the source material of the Matrix.) Also, there's a ton of misogyny in the community generally, though there are less misogynistic versions.

When I first, somewhat randomly, started spending time here, I saw a number of descriptions of what bluepill folks thought, and most of the more reasonable folks I saw tended to be bluepill. Do I identify as bluepill? Not really. But it seemed liked the most useful descriptor.

Most RPers are annoying and obnoxious to be around.

Most Black Pillers are whiny and pathetic; RPers can be obnoxious but at least they’re not straight up incels.

My real life experiences are good, not perfect, definitely not bad. I don’t see a reason to go all in on TRP or the black pill. Blue Pill to me is just accepting normie ideas, and so far being a normie has had no discernible negative effect on my life.

I’m using the term incels for people who have fucked up, sociopathic views fuelled by hate. RPers are often misogynistic, misandrist (in their own way), and have some insane views, but at least they’re not wallowing in self pity.

You seem to misunderstand what the blue pill is. It has nothing to do with avoiding reality or dreaming. It simply means disagreeing with red pill beliefs, which I do, so I identify as blue pill.

Because red pill co-opted this term and, in an twist of amazing irony, fabricated their own reality in which to live in. Far from escaping the Matrix, they built their own and eagerly plugged themselves in.

So I'm blue pill because I live in reality and recognize that red pill is utter bullshit.

Because the fundamental basis of Red-Pilled ideology, is that women are dishonest and there is a discrepancy between what they say they're attracted to, and what they actually are attracted to. I am a 5'2 male, and in my experience I've found women to be incredibly honest.

Simple human decency has worked out well for me: things like kindness, authenticity, seeing partners as equals, and basic hygiene has gotten me further than any 6'2 man with RP/BP/Incel ideologies. Therefore I'm inclined to believe that women are more honest about what they are attracted to, than RP shills.

Blue Pill isnt really a thing. It's just a concept invented by red pill. In doing so, they conflate two definitions: blue pill as denying reality; and blue pill as mainstream.

There are many things red pill says that I accept as truth. Unfortunately, none of them originated in red pill—though red pills does tend to give them snazzy new terminology and extrapolate from simple ideas massive overgeneralizations and warped ideological responses.

I embrace blue pill because I deny RP (and BP) reality wholeheartedly. I also dont believe the mainstream lied to us—it's too large and heterodox for that.
