It seems like guys have an insecurity dating girls with a high body count. Why not just not tell just tell him something he'll want to hear and avoid all the hookups stories?

When I dated my ex, I never once told him about my hoe phase. I only mentioned that I dated two guys before him, and that I'm not into hookups. That last part is still true, because I'm not into hookups NOW. When I was in my early 20s, that was a different story, but now I'd much rather be in a serious relationship and get married.

If I told him or any guy I dated the truth about my past, then obviously they'll get insecure and leave. It boggles my mind how some girls will actually tell their partner about their whole hoe phase, and expect a better result.

I also never understood why guys get insecure about high body counts. If you're a guy who's dating a girl that had slept around a lot, you should consider yourself lucky that of all the guys she's slept with, you're the one she's choosing to settle down and have a future with.

In my case, most of my former hookups were toxic dudes or fuckboys. They didn't care to get to know me, they were just there to fuck and leave. The bar is set so low by these guys, yet a lot of the guys who say they're looking to have a relationship get intimidated because of meaningless hookups that their partner had in the past.

So why not just avoid all the drama and just never tell the guy about the past?
