This is of course just personal and anecdotal, but my experience is is that modern city girls are very reserved about letting guys see them check them out, probably because they have to deal with a lot of people all the time. Most of the time when I get a clear IOI, it's a girl who's recently moved to the city from some rural town. I live in Eastern Europe btw.

If you really have good physique and a sense of fashion, trust me girls are checking you out. They are just a lot better at it. When I was out with female friends (god, I miss that, fuck you Covid) they told me when I was checked out by another girl and within 3 or 4 years of going out I only noticed it one time.

And if you're getting 10 likes on tinder a day, that is really really good! When I started Tinder I got maybe one or two likes a day, then I had my profile pimped up by female friends (I'd highly recommend doing that) I got up to 5-6 likes a day and in my area that is apparently a pretty good score for guys (if you exclude the 1% Thor look alikes) Don't compare your like counter with girls it is absolutely ridiculous how many likes they get.

Honestly man whenever I'm out alone i never notice girls checking me out, ngl I am a bit oblivious to women's "signs" of attraction, but still. However, whenever I'm out with my mom or gf sometimes they tell me "hey this girl was totally checking you out" and my mom even teases me about it, even though I never even noticed.

Just to clarify I'm a fairly average dude, average height, average looks, I just train but not too intensively either.

Girls checks guys all the time. However it's for just a split second for most of them. Girls most of time won't let you know that she's checking you out. And they are pretty good at it.

Going to Tinder is a GOOD thing actually because you get to learn , experience and play new field which helps increasing your confidence and also SMV.

There's two sides to this Either you are attractive but very unapproachable, maybe even intimidating. How you'll know this is you'll approach a girl and she'll be rather surprised that you gave her the time of day. Will tell you after a while how she didn't know how she could approach you n all. Other side is that you're in your head and since you're like actively looking for girls, it comes out unattractive coz you're busy peering your neck like you don't have anything important going on. If this is the case, just always assume there's a girl checking you out. Always put on a show like there's cameras on you. Eventually, coz you're on your own thing, girls will find that attractive and will check you out. You can always feel eyes, you never really have to see them to know they are there yk If it's true you're not as attractive as you'd hoped, don't take it personally, doesn't mean too much. Get your game up, learn how to make the first move, give great captivating emotionally appealing conversations and it'll work for you still. Admittedly, the first two methods are a lot less work but the third method works always irrespective of your appearance. Besides, wouldn't it be fun to know that your game is so good that you could wear a trashbag on your head and still get the girl? I think that's the biggest flex anyways. Good luck tho!!

At least with me, and most women I've been around, don't want to make eye contact even unless we are really really sure we want to be approached. I have had girls cat call me from a car, another time a girl rolled down her window and winked at me while I was waiting to cross the street, have had girls start talking to me while I'm walking my dogs and sometimes I would pass a group by and would hear them muttering something only to turn around to look at them and they were all checking me out.

That never used to happen to me before. The thing that changed? I dropped all the bullshit that made me feel bad about myself and started liking exactly who I am. Women notice this kind of self esteem from across the street.

Real life attraction is much more than just looks.

You need to display confidence, lifting helped me a lot. Also incorporating a zero fucks given attitude. Don't look for attention / be needy for some, put yourself above anyone else. (not in interactions ofc).

For example, since you say encounters on the street. I tend to check them out from far, but keep my head straight, almost ignoring them even when they're very hot. I'll let them see me check them out just before we pass each other, if at all. That made me notice, that they check me out more often, if that makes sense. (Probably cause they get curious as to why I am not looking at them obviously)

Not the best for picking up girls on the street, but that was never my goal. These were just my observations/experience
