Assuming this isn't a shitpost, you can actually teach yourself to recognize fat chicks on dating apps through trial and error + utilizing IG to your advantage.

If a girl's photos are all group photos, I always swipe left so that's never an issue. If they're all filters, it's also a no from me dawg. And if they're all cleavage-up selfies, we got a fatty on our hands boys.

Either way, best way to be certain is to get their IG and check out their photos there as well since they usually have a lot more normal photos to look at.

This could absolutely be possible, with enough processing power and a big enough data set. This is under the assumption that she has photos of her not in a group. For instance, a second photo has her body hidden but face showing, the AI would go back to the group photo, locate the face, then make the decision.

Jokes aside, having some add-on automatically finding red flags predefined (mentions of open relationships, drugs, only filter photos, tattoos, ....) by the user on the profile under scrutiny would be great. This would not save them the job of scanning the profile themselves but can highlight some points they should be careful of.

In all seriousness: There are youtube tutorials using Selenium. Doesn't look that hard. Also, you can add an automated first message. I think if you search something like 'Selenium tinder automatic swipe' you'll find some.

As to the ML part, you could probably use python libraries. I would train it on a set of skinny fashion models. Not exactly sure how well it will work, but worth a shot.

Haha this is genius. I think you'd have a lot of trouble training a machine learning model to do this successfully, however. Instead, you could get around the group photo problem by exploring their other pictures and finding one that has only one person in it, then training a machine learning model to recognise obesity in THAT. But again, it's going to be difficult because machine learning models aren't going to be sufficiently advanced to recognise obesity, they're good at figuring out simple things like traffic lights and crossroads and other patterns (like on the Google captcha).

I actually thought about creating an ML algorithm that could effictively swipe right on profiles I would be into. The weight issue could be hard if the girls are really tricky about how they put together their profile because of how they really cherry pick photos that put them in the best light and you couldn't even tell they are overweight.

You might be able to make a bot but some people have multiple people in photos and you don't know who's the profile owner so you'll have to make it swipe on photos before deciding fat chick or not. This might be just a fun AI project to build but it is definitely much faster to use the neural network you already have.

I built a bot only to swipe right on everyone. I knew it will mess with Tinder's algorithm but I don't care about using Tinder at all. I had 3 months of cheap Tinder+ and made good use of it. Met a girlfriend through that and that was good enough.

I don’t agree with the way OP presents this case. Meaning his/her word choice at times and the approach to women as a sort of commodity that he/she must sort through (and while clearly more might be wrong with OPs mentality on that front it’s not the main point of the post).

I think everyone has the right to look whatever way they want (values and goals etc. vary a lot between people) and not be attacked for it. The other side of that coin is you can’t expect everyone to be attracted to you despite how you look. I think OP potentially words this poorly but I understand his/her end goal based on his/her physical preferences.

As for the sorting function I never understand why it’s so controversial. I myself am a very short guy so I get that I’m “weeded” out of sorts whenever height is involved but I can’t blame the “game” or women for their preferences. It just is and I accept that even if it sucks. With that said I have nothing against mandatory height disclosures as I’m not interested in wasting anyone’s time so I disclose my height regardless and I go into it knowing that it’s a deal breaker for most women I’m attracted to.

In addition, don’t certain apps like bumble force height disclosure (a trait that one has no control over and likely affects men more when seeking partners) with no opt out and without nearly as negative a response as when body shape/weight is involved (for either sex)?

So why are body type/weight filters or mandatory disclosure on dating apps so controversial? Neither are judgements or attacks on a person so much as a filter for looking through potential partners (it’s the same thing that would happen in person when deciding for yourself if you are physically attracted to someone). Wouldn’t it just make it easier for certain populations to sort for their physical preferences/attractions?
