Yes, I have met some creepy women. Example:

One time my roommate went on a date with a woman, but didn’t end up liking her so didn’t go on a second one. This woman showed up at our door in the early hours of the morning. And she showed up at my roommates work too, basically she got a female stalker. It was creepy.

I have no idea if she was unattractive, I didn’t open the door. I also don’t know if she was older than my roommate or not. And I don’t really think she had bad intentions, she just had some mental issues, she thought serenading her date would get her to go on another one or something.

Women can be and are creepy.

Having bad intentions - IT can be, but doesn't have to solely be bad intentions. Often it's socially oblivious people who have zero boundaries and zero regard for the comfort or safety of other people. It's also just entitlement and disregard for the thoughts and feelings of other people.
Being unattractive and/or older than their target - This isn't what makes people creepy. People are creepy when they shoot their shot and don't take no for an answer. The inability to "read a room" and realize that someone's engagement isn't wanted is the issue. Creepy is specifically targeting people outside of commonsense appropriateness, prolonging unwanted attention towards that person such as leering, hovering around, trying to force a conversation, etc.

I'm a woman and I've had creepy experiences with women. I've had women grope me and touch me inapparently at gyms and bars. I've had women who had male friends and tried to "offer" me to their friends like genuinely promising their male friends that they would guarantee sex with me. Just weird and creepy shit that was more so blatant assault/harassment.

Women can do creepy things but they have to be very extreme to be labelled as creepy by society. I have been groped multiple times and women have made jokes about getting me drunk to r*** me but people laughed and being a big, imposing guy I can never be a victim in the eyes of society. So women get away with a lot.

Power corrupts absolutely regardless of gender. So you also see female CEO's, teachers, successful artist etc abusing their power more as they increasingly gain access to positions of power. However mainstream society still finds it difficult to discuss the presence of toxicity in women.

I'd add, being too nice. As a lifelong victim of mean girls, I have a healthy distrust of other women. In my experience, the nicer a woman is to your face, the worse she is to you behind your back.

Whenever I hear someone go off about how women should support women, I want to run in the opposite direction far and fast. They do not support women, except maybe those in their inner circle.

Creepy women are creepy in the EXACT ways men are. Looks have little to do with it. Having no boundaries, ignoring social cues, acting non-consensually, being malicious etc. these are all universal to creep humans.

Yes, absolutely.

I'm friends with a woman thats maybe a 5 on a good day (if she lost 30lbs she'd probably be a 6 or 7?) She's perfect funny and nice, but when she drinks she loses all sense of boundaries and either has an emotional breakdown or creeps on anything that possesses genitalia.

The thing is, she's been in an openish relationship for the past 15 years (or at least, the guy has a don't ask dont tell policy with her), but everyone is still very uncomfortable when she passes her limits and starts creeping (or crying, or crying and creeping).

The last I saw her she drank too much, cried about something nonsensical, and then floated around the party physically assaulting everyone that crossed her path. She'd pull them in for a hug, but then start getting handsy and kissing on them.

By the time the party was over she kept trying to pull my husband and I into a 3way kiss with her. She always does this, with all her friends.

She's absolutely a creep, but she's not close enough of a friend to engage in the work of staging an intervention.

I don’t think unattractive people are inherently creepy tbh. But I do thing older women creeping on young boys is gross (Emmanuel macron and his wife for example).

I don’t think someone needs to necessarily have bad intentions to be creepy. A stalker thinks they’re being loving in many scenarios and are doing the right thing.

I’d say what makes someone creepy is overstepping boundaries. That can be both accidental and deliberate.

Absolutely. When I was in college we had this neighbor who had a huge crush on one of our friends. She would literally pop by randomly every day to ask if he was around and it was so creepy like she was stalking him. They finally met and he rejected her and told her he wasn’t interested in her.

The behavior didn’t end there sadly. She continued to drop by our apartment randomly asking if her crush was coming by even after he rejected her to her face.

Even after we MOVED AWAY she found out where we lived and continued to knock on our door.

She was creepy as fuck dude we literally all told her straight up to stop coming to our place randomly cause our friend didn’t like her and doesn’t want her around. But she couldn’t take no for an answer lol.

Women can be terrifying. They can lie, threaten, abuse, gaslight etc etc etc. They can threaten and perpetrate violence and all many of manipulation including shaming and convincing you no one will believe you because they're just a poor girl. They can threaten to tell the cops you've raped them abused them and done all sorts of shit you're completly innocent of and be very convincing that they have the armor of being more likely to be believed than you by default.

I don't know if thats creepy but its terrifying.

They can also just be creepy in the sense of showing irrational attatchment for people they hardly know, but really many men fail to see this as a red flag

YES. Totally. I'm a woman. I was at a lesbian bar one time in my early twenties and an older woman (maybe thirties or even forties) started chatting with me. She wasn't unattractive but her behavior quickly creeped me out. She grabbed my hand and started stroking it and even when I tried to signal that I was uncomfortable she kept doing it. Her friend kept hinting aggressively that she was single and I eventually had to make up an excuse to get away. Never went back to that bar...

Yes, being much older than their target would do it.

Unattractive is not necessarily a component of this, although, it certainly can be. The more unattractive is a stand in for say open-gaping sores, appearing violent, appearing grungy, or in general looking like a circus freak, the more it will cause being creepy.

The most obvious category left out is lacking social graces, mental illness, mental disability, etc. often cause creepiness.

Neither 1 nor 2 is necessary to be creepy although they can sometimes occur in conjunction with creepiness. Necessary to creepiness is unwillingness and/or inability to let other people's level of discomfort with you and your actions guide to a reasonable extent how far you attempt to intrude into some aspect of their or someone they feel empathy for's personal sphere. It isn't even necessarily just a sexual thing either. The religious zealot who won't let up...the fan who approaches their fave while he or she is at a restaurant eating spaghetti...the seller of investment opportunities who phones your grandma the day after your grandfather's funeral...the twitchy meth addict who is staring just a little too hard at your expensive sneakers on the train and doesn't look a trifle ashamed and stop when they see you've noticed them...the person who upon not getting a job decides to confront the person who interviewed them at that persons home...the strange young man looking long and intently at the kids playing on the playground these people are often also creepy.

I guarantee an attractive well meaning woman could cause a man to feel creeped out.

In fact a lot of guys here seem to describe being referred to as "husband material" as causing many feelings in them that are very similar to being creeped out. They don't refer to it as creepy...but I recognise feeling creeped out in some of their reactions.

What's perceived as creepy can be somewhat subjective but acting inappropriately, rudely, invasively, and presumptuously can all be creepy.

Sometimes you can be creepy with the best of intentions if you refuse to read the room, or are incapable of understanding basic social etiquette.

I once remeber a fat girl awkwardly questioning me to sit next to her in a car ride. I had to dodge the question 3 times before saying I'm gonna sit next to another friend.

This may be my personal bias speaking, but narcissistic women have this tendency to be very creepy, their mannerism and way of speaking and how they act always has this way of almost screaming that there's something off about them. Appearance isn't a factor in this behavior, off behavior is off behavior, they're narcs so their intentions are at best going to be a painful annoyance or at worst dangerous.

I think you're hinting at society having a blind spot in detecting creepiness in men versus women. A very attractive colleague of mine said "I demand that you answer immediately, otherwise I will become angry" when I did not respond to a text about me feeling under the weather that day. She also sent me pictures of her home after cleaning it for no reason (no conversation about it either) . Or she evades all questions that express a genuine interest in her life. Of course all my colleagues (men and women) see a cute woman and have serious trouble imagining otherwise. I wonder if this perspective would have held if she were a man. I think she's mentally unsound in a very specific way. I should point out that we've know each other for a month when this played out.
