Damn, I have been in this exact same position in my first marriage to a NVM. He was as pornsick as they get. It's isolating. Lonely. Demeaning. Draining. Soul-destroying. We need sex education programs to address this kind of thing. There are so many women who have been brainwashed to believe that it's normal/fine for a man to be disinterested in emotional connection during sex, so the woman needs to bend over backwards to "spice things up" in order to be worthy of basic intimacy.

Obviously when you're in a long-term relationship, your partner can become so comfortable and familiar that you start craving experimentation and novelty, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. But that isn't what's happening here. This man clearly doesn't even like her. No amount of sexy lingerie and sex toys will fix that.

A healthy man who cares for you will never be content to have digital images of strangers as a substitute for connecting with you physically, and he will not be off in his head during sex.

If someone wants to constantly stare at pictures of food on Instagram while disdaining the meals you painstakingly prepare to their exact preferences, their brain is broken. Let them starve.

PS: The metaphor here is "sexual appetite = physical hunger," not "woman = food you consume," just in case that isn't clear. :P

Ladies, let's establish this one thing as absolute fact: snooping is a good thing. In fact, it's something every smart woman should do on the regular in her relationship. Never let a man tell you otherwise. Given how most men are happy to lie to our faces, we are well within our rights to uncover information that will allow us to make INFORMED CHOICES about our relationships.

That said, this loser is a gaslighting, abusive, and porn-addicted fapping chimpanzee who has the emotional depth of a mud puddle. This was a little triggering for me. My marriage was like this. I caught him watching porn once and talked to him about it and never saw a sliver of it again—not because he wasn’t doing it though. Combination of alcohol and porn addiction left him not able to perform a lot of times and when he was able, it was just sex. No deep connection whatsoever. Porn inspired sex.

Good news is that I’m out, I know what it was, and I won’t tolerate it anymore.
