I have been there in college.

It's usually the young women who tend to idealize men and fawn in response to their aggression. the "caretaker"/ 'mom" role means they don't bang you outrightly and that you're a "friend" but don't worry, they would still hit up on you and locker room talk about you when you're not there. they use you and will want to extract sex at some point as well. well, after they go through their range of girlfriends that wouldn't even bother to bring them a glass of water because they're not babies.
