My wife’s yoga instructor (40s) preffer younger men for hookups because she’s happy with her life and singlehood and any time she tried talking to or dating a guy her age they usually were looking to get married and “combine the families”. Younger guys were way more ok with just having fun and that being that.

Also I was single when being cougar was cool. Got pounced on once. 5 stars: would recommend!

In most fiction I've seen written by women, attractive male characters are usually in their 20s. Probably not barely legals but there's something about youth that is attractive in everyone. Maybe because fitter body, better health and fertility.

What you actually want for a relationship is a different story and relative to yourself.

I have 3 friends who dated or married much younger men, so it is not unheard of. I date someone 10 years younger for a brief time, but it didn't work for me. Our life experience gap was too great. I was 40, with a nearly adult child. He was 30 and still lived with his parents.

There are marketplaces where this is common. When I was in my 20s, the Chad-lier members of my social circle cultivated FWB arrangements with 30-something women (divorced or married to their careers) on the regular [while I jumped on the occasional grenade]. In fact, they actually preferred [slightly] older women because even if they were still fit and attractive, their abundance mentality had diminished enough so that they weren't throwing up shit tests right and left.

Now that I'm nearing 40, my Bumble profile catches superlikes from women in their late 40s-mid 50s. I'm holding out for one who weighs less than I do, but when she shows up, it's on!

I was once a late teens-twenty something guy hooking up with older women. It wasn’t that I liked them better than younger women. It was just easier. Men want sex whether the woman is older or younger. The easier it is to get said sex, the better. There were older women that would get the googly eyes just because a handsome younger guy showed them attention. With younger women you actually had to impress them and have “game.” In a way the experience I gained from older women helped me become more confident with younger women.

I did when I was single. The age I was willing to hook up with is lower than the age I was willing to date -- that said, I tend to prefer men a little younger in general. I've known other women who would hook up with younger men but not date them, and women who preferred men their age or older even for hookups.

My boyfriend spent his early twenties as cougar bait and rarely hooked up with women his own age or younger. At least some of that was personal preference on his end, but clearly they're out there.

Yeah I'm not sure, I've heard of it. But no older women have ever really shown interest in me, hookup or date. Oldest was maybe 5 years older than me. Typically the women who just want to hookup with me on Tinder are younger too, like 20-24.

I think there is a minority of women going after younger men for sex, but I'd imagine most women prefer hooking up with men around their age or older. They might be socially conditioned to view having sex with younger men as creepy, even if you're talking about someone who's over 25.

It's probably more common when women hit 45-55 due to ED and stamina issues.

I've been OPENLY hit on by older White women in their late 30's to 50's throughout my 20's(I'm currently 29).

I'm not talking about subtle stuff that would be open to speculation. I'm talking women openly calling me handsome, sexy, asking me if I'm married/taken, etc.

It's funny because, understandably, you'll rarely find young women aggressively flirting with men like that regardless of race because they have too many options to act like that towards men who aren't "Chad's."

I don't think the average older woman is actually checking for younger men like that, especially not non-hot younger men.

But I think older women have less filter in complimenting or shooting their shot with younger men that they find attractive because they assume younger men aren't into older women like that which, in a reverse psychology sort of way, makes them feel more comfortable flirting or giving out compliments.

Because we know that when younger guys chase older women it’s usually because they think we’ll be willing to ‘teach’ them good sex, and most of us, having endured men who are bad at sex long enough in our lives, don’t have the time, energy or interest in more unpaid labor than we’re already doing.

Most young men are terrible at sex. They use porn as a guide and it makes them selfish at best, and downright dangerous at worst. When I have sex I want to know that I will be completely satisfied, every single time.

I mean women basically prefer men within the 25-35 age range as optimul for sex. The guys under 25... they don't know what they are doing, even the guys with lots of experience. I mean my cousin probably shagged 50 girls in high school and if any of them ever had an orgasm, I promise you it was by accident. I remember at a party he started having sex with this girl in his car, and she was drunk enough she needed to puke... so she put her head out the car door window to vomit and my cousin just kept going. He was living with me at the time, so I know this same girl came over and slept with him several times later. I groaned and put a pillow over my head thinking this was going to be miserable... but it lasted like 100 seconds max. It was so short I worried he had a stroke, so I knocked on the study door. He was smoking a cigarette and she was putting her pants back on.

I'm going to be totally honest and admit as a young man... I also was a terrible lover. I had this odd thought that endurance is what mattered... and I was in damn good shape. But when I'm reaching for the lube again after 45 minutes of constant pounding... she is mentally going through her to do list for tomorrow... and I think I'm doing great! It's just part of being a young man and generally having everything put on you. Event planners aren't awesome by being young.

I am 32 and recently single. This weekend I'm hooking up with a 27 year old and I'm also talking to a 25yo online who I might hook up with at some point.

The 27yo is actually relationship material, but he lives 3hrs away and I'm not in a position to have a relationship for various personal reasons.

I was very attracted to my last bf who was 36 when we split up recently. But generally I find younger men (mid to late twenties) more attractive. They (generally) have nice think hair which I like, great skin and have this vibrancy and energy that makes them really fun to be around.

I also find younger men a lot more respectful towards women. I've not encountered as many issues with them as I have with olde men. They're a lot more up front and honest about their intentions.

24 would be my absolute cut off point for sex. I think if I go any longer there's the risk they could develop feelings for me and it wouldn't be fair.

Oh btw, Pedro Pascal is the exception to all of this lol
