Q4W: Do girls pursue or give signals only to good looking guys?

The responses youre gonna get back are gonna vary wildly depending on what the girl thinks of as an average guy. Most girls base average on the men they are around in their social circle. And often most guys that girls think are average are normally above average, compared to the population. I.e Even having a college degree makes a man above average in IQ, most girls would probably think hes average though, because most of the men they interact with have college degrees.

Im gonna guess theyre gonna say yes, its happens all the time. But as we know most guys that girls consider average are normally above average in multiple traits when compared to the general population

Why wouldn’t they, if they’re only in it for sex? Why would sexual attraction not be a priority in sex only interactions?

Like as a cold approach? Probably very rarely. Guys they know and have developed an attraction for, fairly regularly. Online dating maybe if it's not a hookup app.

Women care about many different things aside from looks. Otherwise, there wouldn't be hundreds of millions of average looking people in relationships. It's not complicated.

Women are attracted to accomplished and ambitious men. Confident men. Men who have their shit together. Men who aren't shallow. Men who don't think women are just shallow.

Looks matter, but they're not everything. I wish more men would realize that.

A man or woman who personally sees someone else as a "background character", unremarkable or unattractive is unlikely to try to engage romantically with that person. They're going to try to do it with people they find attractive, although this won't necessarily be the same as those others find attractive.

I believe attraction happens when someone stands out for “something”.

And background literally is background. My shy introverted boyfriend used to be in the background and I did not even know he existed for a whole year in high school when we had a class together. I ended up asking him out eventually though.

You are going to pursue or give signals to someone your attracted to? And what one person deems as attractive may be another person's meh..... But yes you typically give signals or pursue men you are attracted to. And that background character could be another woman's "oh my god girl he is fiiiinnnneeee".

I like skinny nerdy guys. Like thats my type. So if I see a skinny nerdy guy I may shoot my shot.

The ripped bearded guy would be an NPC to me.

So it's up to the beholder

Why would any one pay attention to an NPC? Thats the whole point, they're an NPC.
I think pale lanky musicians are incredibly attractive, and these are the sort of men I've actively pursued. However Becky (et. al) thinks lanky musicians are NPCs, and why would she pay attention to an NPC? One person's hot is another persons 'ew' or 'I couldn't pick him out of a line up of one'.
Nobody pursues a wallflower for being a wallflower. You have to do something to draw people's attention and then its up to them to determine if you're worth focusing on.

I think if you can show other qualities over time and through familiarity. But definitely less likely in a bar or club atmosphere where you’ve met someone for the first time.

You aren't going to like the answer, but it depends on a woman. Most my cousins have attractive husbands and they're attractive themselves. One of my friends usually has crushes on guys...I find average or even below average. My school crush was considered unattractive but I found him very appealing.

I think they pursue or give signals to guys they are personally attracted which is subjective & different for everyone. Some of the dudes my friends like or date i would never give “signals” to and vice versa.

Girls will pursue if they are really into you.

I am slightly above average. On 3 occasions in my life I have had hot girls chase after me quite obsessively.

Reviewing why this happenned, the common theme was, that in each case I wasn't interested and didn't want these ladies. Drove them crazy...

Anyone who I have ever pursued, has never been crazy or obsessive about me.

My opinion is that women are just bad at giving signals period. My evidence comes from lesbian humor, a standard feature of which is women being completely unable to tell that the other woman is actually interested in them romantically.
