"As of 2022, Pew Research Center found, 30 percent of U.S. adults are neither married, living with a partner nor engaged in a committed relationship. Nearly half of all young adults are single: 34 percent of women, and a whopping 63 percent of men."

There is been a constant trope about men being terrible partners, manipulative, violent, and neglectful online. You hear the outcries of women all over social media crying about "where are the good men"? If you look at TwoX, most of their posts have an abundance of terrible instances they have had with men.

While it is simply possible that some women are actively choosing partners that are bad for them, I think that a lot of this is a result of a lot of well intentioned gentlemen leaving the dating scene. Men have given up in dating despite their efforts have left these women to deal with lower quality men as a result. It seems that people who were worse dating partners tend to focus more on dating than those who don't, a great example of this would be the "self-proclaimed incels". They have an unhealthy fixation on women than a more healthy men who has given up on dating.

I do not believe that there is such a large amount of undatable men in the dating pool, but rather a ton of dudes that aren't dating at all.
