A couple of years ago my wife called the hospital because she suspected that I had molested our daughter. Why? Because she was red surrounding the buttocks area, which we later dealt with using an ointment. It is to begin with fucked up to even remotely have these thoughts. Anyway, the doctor couldnt see any signs of abuse (obviously) but had to forward this to the social services (as the law states), which led to an "investigation". The social services deemed us good parents, safe environment, healthy kids (all of them) etc.

Even though it was 3 years ago I cannot let go of me being accused of being a pedophile by my own wife. It resurfaces again and again and again. Her parents knew this, but they didnt seem very bothered by it. "Let it go" I have been asked to do. "Not a big deal", "nothing happened".

I have a hard time connecting emotionally with her since the accusation. And since then things has gotten worse. She fell in love with a coworker. Not sure how much one has to deal with in a marriage. Is it common that partners do stuff to each other than are seemingly unforgivable? I am thinking of divorce, but if I do the ownership structure of my company will change and the company will crash due to it being financed by venture capital... Do I have any legal right whatsoever? Is there any repercussions against my wife for falsely accusing me?
