There are groups from both sides that tend to criticize one or the other. That men care about body count and that women care about money. This preference becomes more pronounced when considering long term committed relationships or marriage.

My take is, let's accept the natural preferences present in the majority of each gender, and not get angry about it. You cant yell at men for wanting to marry a virgin, and you cant yell at women for wanting to marry a millionare. In reality people will get a compromise decided by what is available and what they offer to the table.

Problem arises when bluepill or equalists create the illusion that men and women must be expected to be equal in everything. Then one party gets upset that there is a double standard.

Of course there is a double standard! Men and women are biologically different and we are genetically conditioned to want different things!

Men find it attractive when their partner is loyal to them and only them, and that physical intimacy is special to them, and has very low chance of bearing another man's child, doesnt compare her relationship with past experiences.

Women find it attractive when their partner is competent and capable and is able to protect, provide, and support her with resources in the event of pregnancy and child rearing.

These preferences prevail even when the couple doesnt want children, because the whole reason men and women are attracted to each other is because of a long evolutionary biology favoring reproduction.

So lets stop shaming either party for having preferences.
