This is not a post for encouraging infidelity.

This is a post about saying you should not verbally agree to fidelity even if you do.

Let's suppose a man believes in monogamy. Conventional blue pill wisdom would say that this man should make this commitment trait obvious. The trait should be made obvious because women value a man they can trust. So a man who claims to be trustworthy must be better than a man who overtly doesn't claim to be. So far so good.

But here comes the problem. The moment a man a man agrees to fidelity the chase is off for women. She no longer needs to worry about competition. Outside of egregious circumstances he's more or less said "I'm stuck with you for better or worse". This eventually leads to dead bedrooms.

So what's the correct way to maintain fidelity but not fall into a dead bedroom. It's simple you do the two following things:

  1. You never agree to fidelity even if your partner asks you to. You bluntly say that you don't agree to only have sex with her.
  2. Now of course 1. by itself doesn't work. So you follow up by saying "however I'll always be honest with you".

The combination of 1. and 2. keeps your female partner in the competition loop. She never knows for certain that you aren't banging someone else. The onus is on her to ask. This is a middle ground between the two extremes.
