Usually from talking to dudes who swing both ways, they hide it from women or their partners.

Its twice the competition, and unless their partner is very secure which most people are not, it ends up slowly eating away at one's confidence and reassurance until they're second guessing their partner for no reason.

Im not saying its fair or right. Its the same hesitation I have with dating a woman who is openly bi with her friends and has girls nights at her friends houses. It would really make me question the relationship, and undermine my self confidence after a while

This is a very good representation of some of the errors in the redpill worldview: you guys believe that one needs to attract 100% of women to somehow get the best ones.

That's not how it works. You want to be able to attract the best ones (best being subjective to you). Why would you care about attracting the ones you wouldn't touch with a stick.

People aren't fungible assets. There is no "dating marketplace" where Annie is worth 70% of Stacey. People end up with compatible people, both in terms of looks, worldviews, values, personality, etc.

This is why the whole "look vs personality" debate goes in circles. Sure, being kind doesn't mean you'll pull every girl, but if you value kindness & are kind yourself, kind girls will like you more. If you want a hot girlfriend, better be hot yourself. Etc.

I love red pillers trying to be buddy buddy with bi men as if they hadn't spent the previous 15 years or so hurling homophobic slurs at me and other men who dared to disagree with them.

You know what's really strange though? I've had men insult me, use slurs, threaten violence, and try to physically assault me for being bi.

The worst a woman has ever done is say she didn't want to have sex with me.

And yet when choosing between defending bi men from hate and violence and defending bi men from women being turned off, male "allies" on this sub and others like it exclusively choose to attack women. In fact, outside of dedicated LGBT subs, I don't think I've seen a single post from a man defending bi men from hate and violence from other men.

We had this convo yesterday but what exactly is the problem with bisexual men "telling men how to behave in relationships with women"? I don't see it. If they have experience dating women they can pitch in and say whatever. And personally I think it's likely to be interesting stuff if they self identify as bluepill despite being direct victims of women's general preference for masculinity. The irony I see is heterosexual men being outraged about bi men's dating problems on their behalf, even as these bi men are mostly "pro-woman" and mute on these issues.

Something to note on your percentage stats: the percentage of men who are bisexual is what, 5% at most? So long as the percentage of women that hate bi men is less than 95%, these men have a niche. I'd go as far as to say that it isn't overly hard for bi men to nichemaxx and generally do fine in the heterosexual dating market even while being out the closet bi, so long as they know where to aim at.

Another stat is that 85% or so of bisexual men who are paired are so in heterosexual relationships, so most bi men do have heterosexual dating experience. It's a very common complain in gay male circles that bi men are "fake gays" and when push comes to shove they prefer being in relationships with women.

Homophobia is not only a male phenomenon. I am surprised that you find it shocking to hear that some women are. Perhaps this is cultural/location based but I’ve met so many women who are very anti-gay. I do not agree with their beliefs but I can’t change their mind - believe me I’ve tried. 🤷‍♀️

I do disagree that their reasoning is always based on disgust about men-on-men sexual encounters. A common explanation I’ve heard is that these women believe men lack sexual discipline (not sure if there is a better word to use here?) and believe the trope that a “man is only as faithful as his options”…and being sexually attracted to both genders would potentially mean more options and a higher likelihood of being cheated on. So it’s more like disapproval based on their own fear/insecurity.

I’d love to see if there are any studies on how many women are consuming gay male porn versus other genres. 🤔

I think bisexual guys do ok. The only problem is anybody who's looking for good advice needs to get the advice for their specific sexual orientation, so if a straight guy is following the advice of an LGBT guy living his best polycule life, he's not going to be getting helpful advice.

I could be wrong about this, but I think most men are straight, and they want a monogamous relationship with an attractive woman, where they have a lot of sex, plus enrich each other's lives in other ways too. If there's advice out there that does not help this most common type of guy, then respectfully it's niche advice that belongs on the margins; not in the realm of red and blue pills.

Yeah, the blue pill is full of women who like to talk big game about being progressive, but the minute they find out a man finds other men attractive, they get the "ick". I did. In the paragraph you quoted immediately below that. It’s a bias because the exclusion is NOT based on physical attraction or incompatibility but on but on an irrational aversion to an invisible difference occurring within them.

This is the meat of your argument. And this is where you are wrong. You talk as if sexual preferences are themselves forms of biases. But it’s possible to be bigoted against people you’re attracted to, it’s possible to exclude people based on internalized hate, and it is equally possible to not be biased against aren’t attracted to.

Okay since we are going to get into the semantics of it, here goes. “Phobias” in the context that we’re discussing them are psychological aversions to a group (this includes prejudice, bigotry, and internalized hate toward these groups). “Sexism” involves prejudice/discrimination based on sex, and is not limited to assumptions about one sex since they happen in relation to the other. The irrational aversion to promiscuous women is better described as “sexism” than “gynophobia” or “misogyny” because this particular aversion stems from the hater’s phobic aversion to people-who-are-attracted-to-men. The aversion is to people who like dick. If we want to give this specific instance of sexism its own equally valid psychology term, it would be “phallophilaphobia.” But that’s a mouthful so we just group it under sexism, which covers a much broader range of sex and gender based discrimination.

Okay? I didn’t bring it up because I think you need to include them. I brought it up because it’s an analogous example of phallophilaphobia directed at women. Most people can understand why it is morally wrong of these men to exclude those women for that reason. Maybe you can recognize why it’s wrong if you view bi men as sexually unviable for the same reason.

You argue that all sexual preferences are equally the result of sexual aversions and attractions, which aren’t rational, so they don’t matter. Address this point: if a dealbreaker can be resolved by deconstructing an underlying bigotry, why shouldn’t people view that dealbreaker as an expression of prejudice?
